First ever attempt at an interior shot.
ig: @llhost

Mission accomplished! :headbang:

Not car related whatsoever but decided to have lunch at Panda Express. Here are a couple photos of my trip!!
Canon 6Dm2, Sigma Art 35mm f1.4. Shot at 1/160, f1.4, & ISO 100.

That Sigma 35mm Art is a magical lens.

Extremely happy that I scooped it at the end of last year. Personally, I thinks its totally worth the $880 I spent on it. The best part about 1.4 is that you dont have to shoot at 1.4. The image quality at 1.6 or 1.8 or even 2.0 is amazing. Next upgrade is going to be from the 6Dm2 to the 5Dm4 or 1DxM2. Still thinking about picking up a 16-35 and trying my had at video but would rather shoot video using a Sony.

I do love shooting it wide open though! Even better on a full frame like my D750 but it works great for a crop sensor as well.

Kind of Mustang related though this is an Arabian horse. Was asked to cover a special event at a horse show and pulled out the Panning technique to give a sense of motion to this rider and her mount.

I love the isolation of the color; and the PPL2 of course.:D

Thanks! I was hoping it would be as easy as moving a few sliders in Lightroom but there were a lot of other reds like taillights in the images so I had to do a lot of manual retouching which I haven't mastered yet. Still I think they came out pretty nice. :)

Lots of talent in here, great shots everyone! You guys have officially given me the bug... time to start researching cameras. I used to take a lot of pictures at car shows when I went with my Dad growing up, really miss capturing all those cool old rides. I have many many years of research to catch up on.

New wheels are a few weeks out, hopefully I can decide on a camera before they come in!

I love talking camera gear! Any questions feel free to shoot. I'm a Nikon guy but not a blind fanboy.

Thanks I really appreciate that! I'll be sure to bounce a few questions off of you. Definitely time to step up and get a good camera. Honeymoon in Europe this Sept and damn I just miss car show pics.

I'm a Canon guy as of right now but have thought about picking up a Sony.

Depending on your wants and needs, the new Sonys are really killing it. The DSLR's are mirrorless and they produce incredible low light photos and videos. From above, I said I am a Canon guy. Ive always shot with Canon and grew up around Canon. I recently used my friends Sony A7RIII over the weekend and it’s the first time I’ve ever considered switching.

If you're looking for some input, Ill suggest a few options from a Canon standpoint.

Entry Level: Canon T6I/S..... $640 with lens
Some of the things included with this "Kit" are useless but it will at least get your started.
I would recommend picking up a 50mm F1.8 for around $100 new.

Spec Link: T6I Canon Link

Intermediate Level: Canon 70D..... $999 with lens
This is a better camera in pretty much every way, shape, and form compared to the T6I but it also comes with a price increase as well.
I would still recommend picking up a 50mm F1.8 for around $100 new.
Buy Link: 70D Amazon Link
Spec Link: 70D Canon Link

Top Level Option 1: Canon 6D Mark II..... $2,500 with lens
This one I am slightly biased as this is what I shoot with currently.
I shoot with a Sigma 35mm F1.4 and a Sigma 24-70 F2.8; I would suggest both but the 24-105 F4 is a decent starter lens.
Buy link: 6Dm2 Amazon Link
Spec Link:6Dm2 Canon Link

Top Level Option 2: Canon 5Dm4..... $3,099 body only
One of Canon's all time best; it speaks for itself.
You will need to buy lenses for this; they do not do kits. I would recommend the same 35mm and 24-70mm.
Buy Link: 5Dm4 Buy Link
Spec Link: 5Dm4 Canon Link

"F-U" Money Option: Canon 1DXm2..... $5,499 body only
If you dont care about money or would like to throw it around because you like pictures of "birds" or are just retired and "like" photos, this one is for you. You will need to buy lenses as they do not do "kits" with this camera.
For this I would recommend a Canon 24-70 F2.8, Canon 70-200 F2.8, Canon 16-35 F2.8, Canon 35mm F1.4, Canon 85mm F1.4, and a Canon 135mm F2.
Buy link: 1DXm2 Amazon Link
Spec Link: 1DXm2 Canon Link

Edit:
Here is a comparison between all of them.
