Late 19MY.

It takes up to 24 months to fabricate, tune in and PPAP production tooling for many parts.
Really? So your saying it likely won’t be available for purchase for 18-20 months from now?

The GT500 will be a 2019MY and will go on sale the very first days of Spring next year. 2019MY could be a long MY, maybe Job1 for 2020 will be late 2019.

Ok. Still over a year.... better be a serious BAMF, and not a glorified supercharged roush.
Yup, all this hype is nothing. I am just happy to see the concept and that it is going to be a track car. Lets all wait for the numbers from Ford.

I’ll definitely wait to see before judgement, but the difference between the roush and GT500 better not be essentially the A10 vs Dct.

Do you think we'll see that during S550 lifespan? I would love to see a SC V8 with DCT and some electric motors powering the front!! The acceleration would be awesome.
:cheers::thumbsup:;)

People want the car to turn corners.
It doesn’t need to weigh less the a 350R to turn though! I could see the complaints if it was that light and then looses to a Hellcat in a rollrace!! I’d rather see 3850-3900 with 710-715 hp. Based on the ZL1 cars can be fully capable on a track with that weight.

I'd rather my 350 have 150lbs less and factory rated power than its current weight and say the additional power of a tune + CAI.
How much power does a tune and CAI gain typically? I guess from a factory perspective it’s a balancing act right, how much more weight can they cut while only charging X amount. Would everyone be willing to pay say 4-5k more to cut an additional 125-150 lbs?

In this chassis, I'd like 3500lbs and 620HP area. NA of course. That would be BA
