2018 rockers - short?

Ok, I was viewing a CJ Pony Parts vid that had Bill’s 2018 GT in it and during a side pan of the car (looks awesome Bill!), I noticed that the lower rockers seem to be short in length - meaning the rearward edge (in front of rear tire) seems like it’s too short and doesn’t meet up with the rear 1/4 sheet metal.

Did Ford use 2015-2017 rockers on the 2018’s, or did the length of the 2018 from front fender to rear fender change?

Can the rockers be adjusted?

Hmm...I just went out to the garage and took this pic on my '18. Wheelbase hasn't changed. This is the passenger side rocker in front of the rear wheel. Is this the area you are talking about?

Nope.

Take a look at the rocker on each side, the body color portion - where it ends in front of the REAR tire (basically at end of driver or passenger door). It is not lined up evenly with the bottom of the rear 1/4 sheet metal and looks to be short by maybe at least 1/8”+.

That looks like poor panel fitment/alignment more than something intentional. Not sure why the would do that on purpose.

Remember quinitiy over quality. My car spent three days in a body shop getting gaps and fit right. Some peeps are not that anal.

My 17 has this on both sides. Annoying, but oh well.

I have worked for a dealer for 25 plus years , if it is still under warrentfree get it fixed

NONE of the panels in my 2016 lined up.

Does anyone know if the rockers can be adjusted fore or aft?
