If you read the FAQ I explain what the deficits are with SYNC 2. All you lose is the nav and song title in the cluster.
Thanks. ON Sync3 with Nav now.:headbang:

Finally went back in today and added a few more strips of foam tape. 100% rattle free under all conditions.

As part of the original install, yes. This go round I hit a few other areas, so not sure what one actually solved the minor rattle, but it’s gone.

When you have the old analog one out, you’ll see some metal bracing in the dash that needs to have some put on it. The back of the digital cluster has aluminum fins for cooling, I wouldn’t apply any on it directly but kind of visualize how the cluster sits in there and apply anywhere you think there’s a chance it could move and cause a rattle. I’m pretty sure I was getting some from the plastic shield that was cut out hitting up against the air duct behind it. Like I said though, I didn’t want to try just one spot and have to tear it all apart again so I was more liberal the second time around.

You want to make sure your foam isn't too thick. If it is the cluster will bounce off of it and rattle against the bezel.

Looks like Bezels have been released....The 3 I had ordered came in today!

SCCMs are still in hard to find supply. I had 2 come in yesterday but more are still backordered.

Yes! Mike emailed me to say that he had all my parts together and they would go out today. Now to worry about a heated steering wheel! As for active exhaust I may just see about a setup like Sam did. Maybe he could make up and source the switch and transformer boxes for me?

If you send me your motors I'll happily set them up for you... just send me a PM if you're interested.

Good luck on the heated wheel. So far no one has gotten it working...

I'm in Arizona, so I have built in, no charge heated steering wheel all the time. Switching to the GT350 wheel really helped with the suede. In any case, surprised no one has gotten it to work yet. Seems like it wouldn't be too bad compared to the cluster swap. Wonder if it has its own separate module.

It does have its own module, and we've installed and wired and programmed it. Doesn't work....We're trying extreme things.
