Hello all,
LMR is offereing the GT350 wheels and they have a few selection packages with tires. I wanted to go for the Nitto ones, but it is way over my budget. So, they offered me the ones that come with Ohtsu FP8000 Tires. Anyone familiar with those tires? I mean the plan is to change out the tires in 10-12 months anyways because I want better tires like the Nitto or Michelin PS or Indy 500 Firehawks. The package with Ohtsu FP8000 Tires is within my budget. Before I pull the trigger, wanted some opinions on the Ohtsu FP8000 Tires.

The tires are made by Falken. Which are both made by Sumitomo rubber in Japan.

Both of those brands are reputable, so I would assume they aren't bad.

Yeah I read that somewhere as well. Just hesitant to pull the trigger and then be stuck with some bad tires. I need these to at least last me a good 12 months so I can really buy my Indy 500s again lol. Need someone who has used these tires before and give me their take/experience. Online I see mixed reviews.

I wouldn't go with those tires. They are garbage with super soft sidewalls.

Buy the wheels for $750 with 6% discount (lmr6)

Tires kumo ecsta ps91 275-35-20 $558 from tire rack

Total $1308

Rest can go towards installtion.

Firehawk is a good tire but they also have soft side walls.

I went with the Nitto tires from LMR... Those other tires have some weird mixed reviews. Thanks everyone for jumping in.
