Well good news, this just popped up in COTUS.... my R is in production!! WOOHOOO!!! I now have a window sticker also. Good day today!!

EDIT: when I say I have a window sticker, I mean a window sticker button on COTUS. I can not bring it up as of now though.

I did the same thing man, the wait is worth it. Something about the R is a little more special for me. To bad California sucks for everything except some fun roads and pretty good weather. I got to pay tax on my 16, traded that in for whatever amount they gave me and got to pay tax on my R to so sounds like that's a pretty good deal where your at.

Congrats man, the waiting game sucks, I did it twice so hang in there!

Ah yes. You are correct. Looks like I was still better off selling my track pack private party which I did then trading it to the dealer that sold me my R.
I rarely trade vehicles in. Learn something new every day.

More good news, my Window Sticker just popped up!! I am working late tonight, so just a fluke that I checked it and boom- it's there.

Blend date of 03/27/2018

It's getting more real now that I have production dates, COTUS status, and now a window sticker. Going to enjoy this process as much as I can.

BTW, my window sticker showed up on research maniacs but does not come up when I click the "window sticker" button on my COTUS page.

Now it is getting real. Getting the window sticker is a big step. But get ready for a bit of a let down. My car has been "In Production" in COTUS for 2 weeks now. So be prepared for lots of checking but not much in the way of updates.

Found out yesterday that my dealership sold my car within 24 hours... Yep, that quick! They had a hot buyer that was going to order a new GT350 but after seeing mine snagged it up. :) If someone just picked up a 2017 Lightning Blue GT350 in Florida with about 2K miles on it, please PM me. You got a great, trouble free car that was babied.

So today is the day my R is scheduled for production, and I have information that my car will be in paint tomorrow or Thursday.. so exciting! This seems like it's been forever and a lot has changed in 8 months, I don't know if I could order a car and wait this long ever again, but glad it's almost over.

That was (is) a beautiful car. And why is it people like us have a hard time when it comes to selling a pristine car?

I am not surprised your car sold fast! I know I would pay more for a good, no stories car that I knew was taken care of.

I would feel nervous buying a used car like this off a big used lot, such as carmax, especially if it's been sitting for a while.

I have been informed that my build JR# will most likely be 257-263. Can't wait!

Agree with you on buying used! I've seen what guys that use and abuse sports cars do to them, lol.

Hey Eric - Anything you can share yet? Although we thought our cars would make it down the line together, it appears over two hundred and forty cars cut in between ours somehow.
