They did through 2018, I had the Shaker 1000 in my s197 and the shaker pro in my 2018. the 2019 now has harmen kardon B&O systemThe closest we can get to a Mach 1 today is the 2019 California Special.... comparing to a 1969.... Side Scoops, Black chin spoiler (PP1 chin spoiler is used), Tribar Pony Badge more toward drivers side on grille. Only thing missing is grille fog lights, but if now comparing to a 03/04 Mach 1, it has everything except for the Shaker System or Ram Air scoops like the classic Mach 1s. Do S550 Shaker systems even exist yet?
Umm...not that Shaker...They did through 2018, I had the Shaker 1000 in my s197 and the shaker pro in my 2018. the 2019 now has harmen kardon B&O system
Not quite.but if now comparing to a 03/04 Mach 1, it has everything except for the Shaker System or Ram Air scoops like the classic Mach 1s.
Ohhh, duh. I guess him saying "shaker system OR ram air scoop threw me off, I thought he was talking about 2 different thingsUmm...not that Shaker...
That Shaker...
Well the 99-04 Cobra, Bullitt and Mach1 all had the same brakes. Not quite.
The 03/04 Mach 1 used a very different engine that the GT of the time. GT was a 2 valve, the Mach 1 was a 4 valve. The 4 valve was effectively a n/a version of the Cobra motor. Translate that today, and I'd expect a modern Mach 1 to have a n/a 5.2 version of the (to be revealed) '20MY GT500 engine.
The Mach 1 also had revised suspension and brakes.

Considering that the audio systems at the time were named Mach or Shaker it got a little weird.Ohhh, duh. I guess him saying "shaker system OR ram air scoop threw me off, I thought he was talking about 2 different things
The Mach engine was very different from the GT or the Cobra, considering the Cobra engine was a cast iron weight that they had to overcome in the suspension department. Not quite.

Was the Mach 1 closer in relation to the 99-02 cobra motor? at 305 hp while the cobra NA had been 320 during those years. I thought of getting a used Mach 1, since it was a car I always wanted and some have replaced the high mileage mach 1 original engines with a 01 cobra short block, is that pretty much the same engine again? or something different? The Mach engine was very different from the GT or the Cobra, considering the Cobra engine was a cast iron weight that they had to overcome in the suspension department.
Short answer: Same but Different. Mach 1 had better heads, Cobra had stronger internals in terms of rods (Manley) and pistons. Both had alum blocks but the Mach block was different on a few points. If your seriously interested in the differences there were many detailed discussions about them back in 02/03 that can be fiund on the net.Was the Mach 1 closer in relation to the 99-02 cobra motor? at 305 hp while the cobra NA had been 320 during those years. The '69 Mach1's did not have grille fog lights. They had grille high beams, the low beam was the standard light location. Mach1's didn't necessarily have chin spoilers either. That was added afterwards with the popularity of the Boss cars. The closest we can get to a Mach 1 today is the 2019 California Special.... comparing to a 1969....
