As a couple enthusiasts above have already mentioned, we’ve made a change to this deal that you’ll appreciate.

We lowered the participation requirement for the max discount ($250 off + Free Shipping) to just 35 pledges. It was previously 40.

At this time we already have 33 pledged. With 66 enthusiasts interested we should achieve the max discount with ease.

We did this to make sure we can hit the max discount. Long story short, this will avoid any headaches with this deal we were previously worried about from a technology perspective.

Enjoy, and have a great weekend.

Any issues running 295/40R18 on the 18x11s? I'm trying to decide between the 305/35R18, 295/35R18 and 295/40R18. There are some Azenis in 295/40R18 which would be a pretty close to OEM fit circumference wise.

305/35-18 tires are our first choice, however many customers have used 295/40-18 Hankook RS-4's or Hoosier R7's with the 18x11's. Are you looking for an extreme summer or r-compoud?

Here is a photo of 295/40-18 Hosiers R7 for your reference:

Thanks Ryan! I'm looking for an r-compound for road course use. Something with a 200 or 100 tread wear rating. Ultimately I guess the quality of the compound is going to matter the most here since we're talking fairly close sizes. I was eyeing the Toyo R888 in 305/35-18, they seem to be running about $1,200 for a set.

I would highly suggest Nitto NT01's over the R888. NT01's are very predictable and provide great levels of grip per $$ spent. They get faster as they wear, and typically do not heat cycle out. You can get impressive track mileage on NT01's in comparison to the competition.

The EC-7 18x11" ET52 with 305/35-18 Nitto NT01's is a very popular configuration for this chassis.

A little tip, Discount Tire runs ebay specials every so often, saving you $100 on each pair you buy (you have to buy them by the pair to maximize your savings). I was told the sale just went live again, so you may want to jump on it before they sell through.

Ryan, when I received my wheels I was one center cap short - only three were sent. I have spent multiple attempts contacting Apex on their customer service link on the website and have been promised twice that I would be sent another center cap the next day and I still have not received a center cap. Every time I try to get someone in customer service via phone I never get an answer it always goes to voicemail.

HOW CAN I GET MY OTHER CENTER CAP ?

My sincere apologies. Track/race season is upon us and I know the staff is slammed with customer correspondence. If you left a voicemail, I personally should have received it. I will see to it that our warehouse ships out and extra Mustang center cap asap, and apologize again for the delay.

EDIT: Caps shipped Gerald. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention. PM'd you the tracking info.
