Tablet things?

Sorry I should have worded that better. I was talking about the Kia it has that tablet glued to the dash. All of the automobile companies are doing it now and it looks terrible.

yeah, I meant stock base, with small screen and buttons,
which I'm happy ford still offers.

Funny, this is one of only 2 gripes I have with my mustang.

Yeah. Many apparently, like a surface (if seen at the "wrong" angle),
that resembles a 3 year old's chocolate covered fingers,
all over the frig door.

I'm just not one of them........ :D

Either the Euro/Au Mustang is noticeably slower than the NA version, or they legit botched the launch on the Mustang here.

The driver ran a 13.3 which is pretty slow for a GT. He also commented that he's shifting at 6500. I've seen the car mags run 12.9-12.8 with a manual GTs (15-17).

The Mustang also had a slightly higher trap speed. I think a properly driven GT would match it in the quarter and probably pull away in the triple digits.

This might be the reason:

The U.S. V8 cars are more powerful, but the reason is not something I would have guessed– it seems that the exhaust had to be tweaked in order to accommodate the steering shaft for England’s right hand drive. (Presumably the EU countries wouldn’t have this issue.) Anyway the difference is supposed to be significant– U.K. spec V8 cars are down 25 horsepower and 9 lb-ft of torque with the changeover.

They only ran 108 in the 1/4. That not down just 25 HP.
Thats 7 tenths and 7 MPH???
https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2018-ford-mustang-gt-manual-test-review

And @ 57 grand, they couldn't pony up another $1400 for A10?
which seems to be worth another 1/2 a second and upwards of
another 4 MPH (in america, anyway)
does'nt look like a 2018 GT
That was a 2015-2017, not a 2018. It was still down around 0.3-0.4 seconds, though.

EDIT: I wonder if they left it in "normal" mode and didn't change it to Sport+ or Track...?

(and they used a 2015-2017, not a 2018)
