Shouldn't my car be faster than this?

I know many disregard dyno results but that could help with this. If we knew what the car made on the dyno that could at least show if the car is down on power from a poor tune. Everyone likes to clown dyno results as a measure of performance and "the mph at the track is the only real way" but this could be an example of how thats not always the case. If the driving and other factors are not sorted out the mph can be down.

Others have asked here but what was the DA? Very influential variable.

I just figured out the da was 2320. I haven't had the car on a Dyno so no idea what power it's making. I definitely was not shifting slow or babying the car at all. Only thing could be shifting a little early around 7500

A DA of 2320 is pretty high. This will affect mph greatly. Not sure if it explains your mph completely but is certainly is a contributing factor.

Throwing the car on the dyno will be good to see what your timing and A/F are across the rpm range at WOT. It is a good time to make adjustments and monitor their effects.

LX1, was your first time at the track that was 4mph faster on e85 or 93? When I got my flex tune my first impression was that my 93 tune felt stonger which shouldn't be true. That was with e60-70 in the tank

Better DA and a 1.6 60 ft should get you a high 11 and a 118-119 trap or so.

I only have the PP2 tune and I trap 115 mph every time I go to the track regardless of my 60ft or what tires I run. Mph is a pretty consistent representation of HP as long as the driver hits the shifts correctly. I would think you should be 117-119 mph. If you want I will run your car to make sure it's not the driver!:D

That's what I'm thinking too. I know I can get the 60ft down and get a better et but the mph isn't gonna get to 118-120 where I expected it to be. What track do you go to? Looks like you're only about an hour and a half from me

You can rule DA out. DA at that track has been in the -700 range. If you don’t have a ton of drag experience. I’m going to say the low trap is driver related. And will increase with more practice.

You might have punched in a wrong number? DA at beaver creek. On April 14 2018 was between +300-+400 for the time you mentioned. On dragtimes.com/tools. That’s still very good DA. 2331 is Texas type DA for this time of year. The East cost usually doesn’t see 2300. We’re usually close to negative thru March and April .

That low of a da is even more of a reason for me to be concerned. I can see it being driver error if I were shifting at like 6k but that's not the case. I'm not an excellent drag racer but I don't think I'm that bad to lose 4mph just from driving skills. I'm definitely gonna go back and try again though
