I have ford performance CAI. Does anyone know how to maintain the filter? I've owned K&N filters for years and familiar with the process of cleaning and applying oil, but it doesn't seem like this filter can be cleaned the same way. Additionally, it doesn't even have oil applied.

I'm pretty sure you just wash it out with water and let it sit out and fully dry. Once it is dry, reinstall.

If you are talking about the yellowish colored filter you toss it when it's dirty and put a new one in. You can get them for about $20.

Yeah the yellow one is crap. Just throw that one away. I have the blue Airaid filter installed in mine, which is washable and reusable.
