Question,

How does the dual rate springs and Steeda adjustable shocks compare to stock PP suspension as far as performance, ride quality, and ride height?

I'm currently on Eibach pro kit springs but I want to switch to something with adjustability and more track focused but complaint. I was even thinking of going with some 3 way adjustable shocks but those are typically 3x the price. So I'm considering more reasonable options.

Thanks!

Loaded question. But I'll try it...

I felt like the stock PP suspension gave me the illusion of it being stiff because it's kind of bouncy, especially in the back. It's a great handling car from the factory for the price, but it wasn't confidence-inspiring.

The Dual Rates are not a spring I'd personally want to run on a daily driver. A fun car, that you take the track and maybe some mountain runs and car shows (but not daily drive)... absolutely. You could daily drive on these springs, but you have to accept that they are significantly stiffer than stock and that is going to have consequences no matter what dampers you have. Steeda Pro-Action adjustable dampers are what you want with these.

The car is flat, feels much lighter than it is, and isn't abusive on the road or on track. I feel like the Dual Rates and the Pro-Action Adjustables are as good as it's going to get before you dump big money on true motorsports coilovers. The dampers are single adjustable, which is more than enough.

i'm planning to purchase Dual-rate springs and adjust strut/shock.

Do i need to purchase the camber plate and shock mount?

I will be running 275/40/19 with 1" hub-centric spacers for all corners.

i know it is better than nothing, but, I want to know if it is really mandatory, or i could live with it.

One more question is that, what numbers should i use for alignment? I'm pretty I should not use the number for OEM spec.

Yes, you should have the camber plate and the shock mount.
From our POV the camber plate is mandatory.

You can replace the shock mount now or there could be a potential for an issue to arise down the road.

As for alignment, the actual setting will vary depending on what you are doing with the car.

Send me your contact info to [email protected] & I will put you in contact with one of our seasoned reps.

Best Regards,
