Lock Out kit was the right call.

Almost 0 wheel hop now.

Waking up this thread. After a lot of research and discussion with several people, I decided to use the IRS Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit (CB005) as a first approach to eliminate wheelhop.

With a new set of Michelin PS4s tires and Steeda's IRS bushing support kit (and rear subframe alignment kit) I have removed 98% of the wheel hop. Its definitely the most bang for your buck.

I would go with the "lockin". They won't be expecting that..... :faint:

So it seems you all are favoring the lockout kit by a small margin.

Lock out it is thanks!

Since I have you all, do you know if there is much difference between standard strut mounts and PP strut mounts? There are 2 different part number....I know that much.

I totally agree. And after talking to several people who have installed the BMR lockout kit are absolutely satisfied. They have eliminated wheelhop 80-90% with a couple of hundred bucks!

The Lockout (CB005) was probably the the best and most noticeable mod I did to my car.
I have ZERO wheel hop spinning 305 Sticky Mickeys. I admit that I added the links first with little improvement but with the Lock-out, everything went away.

Be careful, you will see such a difference, you will want to throw more improvements (MONEY) at the suspension....

So anyone with these lockout kit installed on a daily that has noticed any negatives to having them installed? for the most part they look great but my car is just a daily.

Personally I prefer the BMR IRS Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit. I have only read very positive comments about it and this kit alone, without any other mod, can eliminate wheelhop almost completely. Plus, judging from the size alone, it seems lighter than Steeda’s subframe braces.

Although I do have CB005 installed on my car because I got it for a steal as one of my first mods, the Steeda braces look to be a less involved install with the same or better results.

Can't comment on weight because I haven't held the Steeda ones, but BMR's isn't too light for how small it is (probably why it works so well and can be used as a jack point).
