I'm dropping my car off tomorrow at Coastal Dyno to have the below parts installed and have a dyno tune.

Whipple SC kit
Kooks headers and catback
Steeda springs and sway bars
Ford racing halfshafts
Blowfish shifter support bracket

I just received my car last week and have 500 miles on it. I'll post pictures and results once it is finished. :headbang:

That's going to be a nice setup. I'll be installing my Whipple myself with the help of a buddy.

I was going to install myself but I have too much going on right now. I looked at the install instructions that whipple provides and it isn't that bad. You will need someone to help you with lifting the sc, it is huge.

For those installing whipples, did you buy their full kit with calibration included, or are you getting it custom tuned?

I'm getting a custom tune, it is always better if you can go that route.

I bought full kit. Gonna try it first. 650 rwhp is more than you can use on street, if needed I will have custom tune done then.

Why is that? I thought that a huge part of Whipple's tune was it's built in safety program so as not to detonate, and or any other issues.
Custom tune is always better than a canned tune.

Very true! As long as the tuner is a good one:D.

I had a custom tune on my 03 Cobra and it lived for 6 years and 50k miles with zero issues, ever. Including drag strip passes and road course trips.

A tune is everything for the lifeblood of a forced induction engine.

Yeah! For the most part. Is the custom tune from Whipple? The whipple web page and sales pitch goes into detail about their tune protecting the motor.

If it's not a custom tune from Whipple, do they still honor their warranty?
