Now that looks good

Did you sit in the Recaros? If so what did you think compared to the standard seats?
As a matter of fact I did:D....

They felt very very nice, but personally I still wouldn’t order them:)

I don’t like black interiors, and I’d prefer to have the heating and cooling on the standard seats.

If I were ordering I’d spend the money on magnaride instead of recaros.

Forgive me for straying off topic here, but holy shit - £47k is a big number. I certainly wouldn't be here if those kind of prices were touted back in 2015, waaaay out of my league. Goes to show how much has changed in the very short time the Mustang has been in the UK. I'll be forever grateful Ford made it so accessible to me in the beginning. Damn impressed by the 18 though, can't wait to see them on the roads...

£49,200 with MagneRide! I suppose fitting Mercedes (or are they Audi?) wheels justifies it :eyebulge:

Thought you would sit in them :D, pleased they feel nice  as you say magna ride is a must have imho, it’s a shame they did not offer heated and cooled on the Recaros as well

Yes. And coloured leather as well:)

It’s like the old Ford days. Any colour you like, as long as it’s black:lol::lol:

<smug mode> I predicted a £50k price tag fully loaded. Seems I was right.

Trouble is, a that sort of money you have a huge choice with some serious competition (albeit used/ex-demo).

At 36k it was a bargain - at 50k? Nah and it doesn't look as good IMHO.

Now if the Bullet is 48/50k then temptation is showing itself :D
I think Bullitt will be a min £2.5k premium (limited edition, paint, GT350 intake and power mods etc.) , but Recaros and Magneride are options. Manual only on Bullitt.

Ford will try to keep under £50k, but expect to pay over that loaded.

this was my argument all along at 50k there's a lot better options around

And no dealer discounts! BMW, Mercedes, Audi etc always have incentives which brings the price down by quite a lot. That’s what I’m finding whilst BMW shopping anyway.
I was in the local BMW dealer talking M2s a couple of weeks ago; that's the same money.

Now, I know the M2 is not a big US v8, but what it IS, is a compact performance car that does everything and looks great (and actaully sounds okay).

Mustang or M2? I'd get the M2. That's the difference the price tag makes :(

I refuse to support the German car industry so I’d still go for the Mustang:)

That's an odd thing, but yours to do I guess.

I couldn't say no to a 911 I'm afraid. The M2 has such strong residules, the monthlies are lower than a £10k car. I'm not getting one though; was just tempted for a while :p
