2019 Mustang Bullitt - 8/6 build date
Got my VIN today finally! A little bummed that the build won't start until August 6th for me.. but I'm a step closer at least. ...anyone know which numbers indicate the chassis number on the VIN?

Chassis number is supposed to line up with the last numbers of your VIN.

Congrats. I have same build date. Ordered on 23 April, dealer called 14 June w/VIN (#964) and build date of 6 Aug. Other than waiting to track it, its real now and feels good!

Nice! I ordered on 4/19... I guess that means my dealer didn’t put my order in right away! Lol. Just got the VIN yesterday after getting the run around from Gaudin Ford. Confirmed the build date with Ford Performance just now via their live chat. Estimated delivery is 9/17. It’s a ways out but suddenly it’s much more “real” so I’m starting to get excited!

My VIN is 00090 with a "Blend date" (Rail date) of 2018-06-28. Placed my order 2018-04-18. Hoping to get it the third week of July (by or before the 27th).

I ordered myne end of May (so about 6 weeks after you). Dealer reached out to me to provide an update: there is no update. LOL.

That sucks.

Ask them to run a "Vehicle Status Report" for you. If the salesperson can't get it for you ask him to get it from his manager. This is a printout of their outstanding cars ordered. It typically has 30-40 cars per page and shows the date the car was ordered, the scheduled date for the build to begin, scheduled rail car date, VIN, etc.

As I mentioned, I ordered mine 2018-04-18 and my dealer gave me a copy of the page of their Vehicle Status Report that had my car on it, VIN, etc., less than two weeks later. My car was on page 30 of their report (they naturally just provided me page 30).
