I have the Love The Drive wind blocker in my 2017, but I’m curious what, if any, modifications guys made to theirs to keep from marring it damaging GM their cars?

Hi Tom-
I’ve had mine for over a year. Only problem is the name badge began to curl so I carefully peeled it off. Other than that no modifications or damage. Not sure I understand what you mean or what GM stands for.
BTW I’m originally from Indianapolis...raised one mile from the Motor Speedway.

I applied felt on the brackets where it makes contact with the interior and as for the name badge, mine started to curl as well

Great idea on the felt. I’ll have to check if my panels have been marked by the deflector tabs and apply felt if needed.
For that name badge removal let the open car sit in the sun then GENTLY roll the badge off the screen in the direction of the curl. The adhesive will pull away from the screen and stay affixed to the badge. There may be a few bits of adhesive left on the screen which can be removed with a tiny bit of solvent and a light touch.

Yep, I used some adhesive backed cork I had on hand for the same purpose. Also had badge unstick itself. Overall though, I’m very satisfied with this product.
