I am considering ordering a 2019 R as I am excited about the upgrades (improved/wrapped interior, new seats, stereo, and of course painted stripes).

I haven't started calling around yet so I'm wondering what we should expect on 2019 R's for ADM's? Seems like the ADM's were leveling off on the MY18's in the last few months with $5K ADM (or better) being much more common if you were looking.

Would be kind of tough to let mine go as I only have about 2K miles on her and $4K in PPF/tint/ceramic (and I paid $5K over), but looking long term I wouldn't mind having the upgraded 2019 in my garage 10 years from now as the original owner.

It's probably too late but The Ford store of Morgan Hill does NOT charge ADM.

This is somewhat related, but do NOT expect the R to have the upgraded features i.e. wrapped interior, better stereo etc.

Going from the sSoureceBook update a few days ago it will get the updates except for the stereo

You NEED to ask your dealership...pardon me but this question just gets so old.

Some have paid well over MSRP. Others at MSRP. I paid a testicle hair over MSRP for my TP car and there are people who still don't believe me until I pull out my dealer slip. It DEPENDS on who the dealership is.

I was first in line at my dealership. I came in the day the order banks were open and they gladly handed the allocation over to me. That's just how they ran their business. Then there's Heiser Ford Lincoln in Glendale, WI that had a bidding war between two guys for their R and it went for something like $15K over. They don't charger over MSRP because they know they don't need to with the clients they serve.

Short Answer, MSRP $75,000 + $25,000ADM = $100,000

Found one today for $5K over. My main question at this point is how much these new options are going to cost such as the painted stripes and wrapped interior (if available on R). Not to mention the price of the Stereo upgrade.

Then, the consideration that I may be getting close to GT500 money.

Bottom line is it's hard to move forward right now without seeing the upgrades and knowing what they are going to cost. I may just throw the deposit down and wait it out since it's refundable.

I wouldn’t hold my breath on a 19 R. Unless you are absolutely attached to the interior upgrades, might be better off trying to get an 18 now.

If they make 19s, and the plan is to make 19s, but those things can change, it will be a very low production number. Expect high ADMs

The paint on my 2 GT350’s required a sizable amount of correction and it still wasn’t 100% correct. I can’t wait to see some of these painted stripe cars. Ford quality leaves allot to be desired for $70K

No sense in really asking. I was told I'd never get an msrp allocation.. and did. I watched people say they wouldn't make much if any over 526 17's.. I have 912. They said 40% less for 2018. They made more than that.. over 100 more actually.

Be diligent, utilize what resources you have and hope like hell that those red bolsters dont look terrible. Because what I'm envisioning isnt good. And most of all, don't believe anything Ford states about production numbers.

Yeah that'll be a regret on their behalf. Interested to see what that option will cost. Considering the bleed lines around my black roof. Uhmm no thanks.

Not sure who indicated to you that the production numbers for the 2017MY R model would be less than the 2016MY of 526 R's but obviously they were way off and had no idea what they were taking about.

Agreed that the 2018MY R model production numbers (5 months versus 14 months) exceeded the 55% less production numbers for the 2017MY compared to the 2018MY with ~629 R models produced in 2018.

Of course only ~25 Base models will be produced for the 2018MY compared to 44 for the 2017MY and 64 for the 2016MY and 6 for the 2015MY.

Production for the 2019 GT350/R's start up again in August and expect that the order banks to open anytime soon for the 2019 GT350/R's and of course subject to numerous price increases based on some new options.

Keep in mind that the 2019 R's will discontinue production in late October 2018 as expected and may not resume until March 2019 therefore possible reduced production numbers overall for the 2019MY!!
