Got some of the stuff installed myself yesterday.. Decided to do Axles, rear portion of the BMR drag springs and Viking Warrior shocks all at once. Went pretty smooth except the almost 2 hours fighting to get the d/s axle out with pry bars. Would not budge. Had amoment of clarity, went to Autozone and rented the slide hammer and axle adapter and bam came right out. Jacked up the outer ridge of the seal but the inside seems ok. Took it for a 10 mile drive and is still dry. We will see how it goes after a highway drive. I needed it moved off the lift and cant wait 5 days for a seal to show up.

Also installed the Ngauge today.. Install was simple but it powers up by the OBD cable but cannot "connect to the car" all fuses good and wiring tight. Not sure what is up with that.. have a message in to Lund to see what they think.. Cant really do much without being able to datalog/tune!

the BMR springs lowered the rear a slight bit, 1/4 " on p/s and a little less on the d/s. Installed the shocks in neutral position on the knobs with no adjustments yet.

Should have some free time after Christmas to get a free weekend with my help to do the converter/headers/ driveshaft and hopefully get my transmission jack as HF does not stock the high lift model in the store.. Which job would be easiest to start and finish with to do all of that at once efficiently??

Well after a solid month of being busy or super cold snaps happening on weekends where my heat in the shop can't keep up, I finally got around to installing the Fore level 4 fuel system. Echoed in other threads and reviews, their stuff is definitely top notch.

I should have went with black fuel line but no big deal. My only hangups were figuring out exactly how I needed to route the lines and as I pulled a line through near the fenderwell I kinked it good. I did not want to risk a compromised spot and luckily had enough line left to redo that section.

Started off draining what was left in the tank, Lund sent a fuel pump drain tune to make this a snap.

Everything laid out ready to go with the 1050X injectors

Seated in the rails

Old pump, removed in literally less than 3 minutes

Sending unit snaps right onto the Fore hat and connect the 2 wires

Overview, took a few tries to get the fittings dialed in the way they need to face

Only real place I could get to the regulator easy.. The very top just kisses the hood liner. On the newer cars the ABS module is in the way, I think its different on years past. I also had to get a little creative with the fittings, the braided teflon bends but not as much as you would like sometimes

Just tucked the Y block in next to the brake booster, did not hard mount it but I do not think it will be an issue

Love how clean the Fore setup installs, I can see the little tweaks they have made with the connectors and stuff since they first came out. Before securing the lock-ring, I almost forgot to connect the passenger side crossover hose

The relay box in the trunk. Left on the option for a 3rd pump in the future, because I do alot of highway driving in the summer I think it may be better to run pump 2 on the Hobbs since it won't cycle as much as with the Vortech over say a PD blower, keeping fuel cooler

Loaded base tune from Lund and fires right up, Got all the way up to temp, I don't hear the "cammed" sound as it's in the tune very much but then again, I am used to BBC and LS. Only firing it up to move around the garage. The tune is set for my converter, headers and blower which are not yet installed so no street driving yet... Anyone else able to fit the isolators over the Fore rails? I noticed these injectors are pretty noisy.

So its either OPG/blower next or converter/front springs/ headers.. Not sure what I want to tear into next , parts await me in the garage

well got home early from a work trip today so figure hell, I will at least get started on the converter.. total time 3.5 hrs but lucky to have a lift and the transmission jack was a huge help.... also got the driveshaft all of the way out and removed the 02 sensors to have a little more room when I do the headers this weekend most likely. Surprisingly no hangups, top bolts on the trans were really not bad, tilted it downward and used about 5 feet of extensions lol... On to the headers and front springs this weekend...

Oddball question, The trans has 5 spots on the shifter but why is there like 7 or so detents when you move the selector on the transmission itself?

Awesome work! Just catching up now and laughing through most of your posts as our plans are so similar. I have most of the same parts either planned or waiting to be installed. I also have had issues with the cold (and life) causing the car and parts to sit untouched for like a month. I'm finally getting the rear suspension done and getting ready to move on to headers (ARH) hopefully in the next few days. I went ahead and took the factory cat-back down to do my Steeda diff bushings, so now I'm ready to roll into the exhaust.

It's a good problem to have, but with so many parts sitting around it can be frustrating trying to figure out how to install everything most efficiently. (Especially with little kids...time is more valuable than gold right now.) I was actually thinking the other day about the blower/OPG and the exact issue you stated - so many possible issues on first start. I may end up doing what was suggested here, install the OPG/CS and then get it running before touching the blower (especially since I don't have my blower yet).

Carry on and good luck!

Yeah I am debating the reinstall everything then restart, BUT I have an 8 rib kit to swap on as well so once I get that balancer on and most of the rest of the pulleys , the blower pretty much has to go on, saving a bunch of time just going right into the blower with 1/3 or more of the work already done.

After watching about 20 videos on OPG install and having a OEM service manual I feel pretty confident with it. 40-50's Friday thru the weekend so I will finish up with the driveshaft and loop and headers. Doesn't look difficult but more tedious. Just have to coordinate with a friend, I definitely want another pair of eyes when doing the critical stuff

Yeah the build is just a variation of pushing the motor to the limit somewhat safely and getting decent results. No plans for a cage or chute but coming from 620 rwhp Vette I think the added power will keep me happy for a little while at least!

Yep, it's supposed to be 60 here tomorrow, which will feel like 90. I'm ready to hit it if I can get some time!
