MPT Tune Officially out

Getting random misfire codes after MPT 93PRX tune. Contacted them for advise. I have a 93 economy tune I may try before giving up on 93.

Can you Keep us updated on what’s causing the misfire

is that before or after the new TB? I know it's unlikely you've actually gotten it yet but just wondering.

Throttle body has not shipped yet. Put tune back to stock and ran good then put 87 performance tune and it runs better. Wrote MPT about the 93 tune not working. We’ll see what they say...

Honestly, you may have the same problem I had. I didn't contact MPT because I found a fix I'm ok with, but the 93 in your area might not be good enough for the type of timing the 93PRX is trying to pull. Just a guess. Like I said before, I backed the tune down to 91 and kept filling up with 93 octane and I haven't had any problems.

I don't know if this matters but most of y'all live in winter states were they have winter and summer gas. I'm in southeast florida were the gas stay's the same year around.

MPT wants me to fill up with 93 and data log. They will take the info and change the tune.

Just curious as to the brand of gas you were using..

BP should be a reputable source of gas, and the ECM can detect insufficient octane and adapt to it. Wonder if its really the problem of bad gas...

Sorry, turns out it was a Shell station I filled up at last. Going to fill up at a BP and data log for MPT so they can make adjustments.

I got my tune today & with a auto transmission it said to drive it easy for 30 miles for the relearn program... now I did notice that I have on my dashboard it shows the numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6 when I was in drive .. has anyone had the same thing on there car ..? But so far it better ��

I only see the gear number stay when I use the paddle shifter in S. In D they only show up if I shift then disappear.

That’s odd mine had the number when I was in Drive just like in sport mode . The next time I drive it I will pay attention but for now I have to what it going to snow here tomorrow the news said
