UPDATED INFO:
Meet up at Starbucks, 50 Earnest W Barrett Pkwy, Marietta, Ga 30066 at 7:30 and depart at 8:00.
A quick meeting before we go up as it is a 3+ hour drive. Safety briefing will be held once we get to the mountains.
Things to bring: Two way radio for communication (22 channel), lots of water/ cooler if desired (ice packs not actual ice), cameras, go-pros, extra batteries/ SD cards, folding chairs IF you don't mind them being tossed around your trunk, and I recommend having some cash on hand in the event credit cards get frozen, stolen, or lost.
Things not to bring: Any unnecessary lose items in your car and pets as they tend to get sick.
Other info: You can rent Go-Pro and Garmin cameras from a few places up there, but there is no guarantee they will be available and it is a bit pricey. There are many places to buy shirts, stickers, an other merchandise.
Not trying to scare anyone off making the trip, but it is going to be an all day event. 12+ hours. We will have a breaks for lunch and dinner as well as breaks whenever needed once we get up there, but it is a long time in a car. Just something to be aware of.

Will share more details when we have it, along with meeting spots!
