Right on brother!

It will be worth the save by the way.:)
Honestly I'd love HRE's RS103 but that's never going to happen.

Beautiful car mate! What else do you have planned besides the wheels you mentioned?

I have a JLT intake & SCTx4 tuner sitting in the garage already but I thought it would be a good idea to but 1000 or 2000 miles on the car before tuning.

I also really want to Drag the car some with my Dad & his Supercharged 97' t-bird. The consensus seams to be that stronger axles are required for drag racing.

This summer:
JLT intake & tune
DSS 800hp axles
BMR rear cradle bushings maybe more IRS support
drag radials on some smaller wheels

Next year:
20" HRE FF15 wheels & Pilot SS tires

2018:
Procharger

Looks good! I'm around the Clawson/Royal Oak area a lot so I'm sure we will see each other around.

Just did some under-hood work.

- Removed the plastic 5.0 cover. I like the motor better without it
- swapped in the blue Ford Racing Coil-Covers
- UPR Catch Can (PLUG N PLAY SC Seperator + matching breather hose)

Just installed:
- JLT intake
- SCTx4 tuner
- 93 oct custom tune by Brent Hughes at DTP Racing.

I actually had a pretty hard time with one aspect of the install. With this new intake there's an airbox/shroud and a fresh-air-inlet that connects the bumper-inlet to the shroud. I had a very difficult time getting the fresh-air-inlet mated to the bumper-inlet.

I even needed to file some material away on the lower inside lip of the fresh-air-inlet:

I found that it was easier to install the fresh-air-inlet first (tapped into place with a light mallet) before installing the shroud . In JLT's instructions you put them in together, then slide the fresh-air-inlet forward to mate with the bumper. I could not get it to work that way.

But it did all come together:

Car runs great. Very strong. There are a few little "intake sounds" that are new. They are hardly noticeable though. It might be due to my louder than stock exhaust but I consider this a quiet intake. CAI's I've installed on other cars made a MUCH bigger difference to the sound of driving the car.
