nice work!

Davies Craig EWP 150 mock up In progress. I’m figuring it out as I go here. I really don‘t want to hard mount it, as DC recommends letting the hoses bear the weight of the pump (which is very light to begin with), but I‘ll anchor it to the frame rail in one spot for good measure.

To finish up, I’ll need another Auto Plumb -16AN fitting like I have on the upper radiator barb, another -16AN straight push lock fitting and a 1” X 1” X 3/4” tee, to connect the return hose to the driver’s side heater core hose at the front of the valve cover.

I also buttoned up the rest of the VaporWorx Four X fuel system wiring.

I have all the hot side and cold side fitted. I am probably going to cut the silicone on the drivers side about an inch so that pipe will fit a lot better.

Second thing i vacuum filled my coolant system like @19BULLITTwhipple told me too and im not sure if i created too much vacuum that it caused to to leak out or if the turbo is not allowing the one c clip to sit flush and cause a leak at the bottom. It doesn’t leak when i hold it when vacuum filling but when i took all the vacuum off and sat the hose correctly it also stopped leaking.

The O-rings in the Y connector have lost their seal. Dorman or PBH sells replacement o-ring kits for those.

FYI, max pressure on the coolant system should be 21 PSI. I think 15-16 PSI on your gauge is a safe number for vacuum.

I replaced the o rings today and everything sealed and was able to vacuum fill the whole system. The o rings look a little worn but now look back at this picture i didn’t even have the right side of the y fully seated where it’s supposed to be. 🤦‍♂️

Easy fix! Glad to hear you got it all sealed up.

Eventually that will leak and you may turn that whole section into an AN fitting. I got tired of replacing O-rings 😅

but it’s easy to fix

Haven’t read all of this thread yet but this sucks that you are having so many issues. Was super tempted to buy this kit especially since they did a discount on it.

I ended up getting a used twin kit from a local guy for a good deal and only had to custom make some intercooler mounting brackets, get a few new hose clamps, some new vband clamps, 2 new silicon clamps, a few bolts and seals, and modify the trans cooler lines. All stuff that I expected with a used kit.

I would expect a brand new kit like this to be perfect

Sounds like you made the correct choice by going the route that you did.

Yes, unfortunately. Was excited to see you finally go boost after all these years, and you chose the kit that was my go to option if I was buying new.

Keep pushing through, the first startup will be worth it! At least you will know the system inside and out so if you ever need to make modifications or repairs.
