Didn’t think we’d be where we are today but ultimately ended up lifting a head at around 15-16 psi on the blower set up. Had intentions of just doing head studs, valve springs and heads studs and put it back together. Figured that since the motor was out why not throw a twin kit on it. Ended up going with an on3 top mount kit with twin on3 67/63 ball bearing turbos, turbosmart gates and bov with an on3 5” intercooler (their customer service was and has been top notch)
Got everything powder coated and added some titanium hardware. If you’re in Maryland and near the Baltimore area reach out to RC Hotcoats, they’ve always taken great care of me
Added a motion raceworks flex fuel sensor mount in the return line and got a fuel it bluetooth ethanol analyzer to monitor ethanol content on my phone (love it). Changed up the feed to have both rails being fed individually.
BL fab on board air kit for my cortex boost controller
Moved the regulator under the intake and tucked all the coolant lines under the intake as well. The billet pro shop heater core fittings help a ton with cleaning up the engine bay in general
Turbosmart oil pressure regulator feeding both turbos
Fuse box and ecu relocation. Was the most time consuming part of this project hands down. I would like to redo at some point a couple years from now taking what I learned from it this time, but it’ll do for the time being
Fusebox mounted in the factory battery location. Also mount the Mac valve in here
Took to fab to finish everything up
Vbanded the entire exhaust. Don’t mind them not being symmetrical. Connections pipes were the straightest and my fabricator made it work saving me money on material
Grabbed a stubby vibrant catch can and mounted on the back of the kmember. Random idea that popped in my head. Used atv light bar mounts and it worked perfectly
New wheels. Velgen forged VSL-01. Brushed clear center with polished lips. Originally had satin black Velgen vf5’s but I gave them to my fiancé when my car wasn’t running
The final result. Beyond happy how everything turned out
