For your plate frame, there are license plate kits that have anchors (kinda like wall anchors for bumpers). I used them on mine and was then able to use the hardware that came with the plate frame. You will have to drill out bigger holes in your bumper for the anchors, which some folks don’t like to do
Thanks man I agree they are nice! And yeah, I was a bit peeved I couldn't use the screws that came with it because they had those nice covers to clean up the look. But oh well, I'm not taking her to Pebble Beach anytime soon 🤣

The holes are already pretty wide. I wonder if the drilling is already done for me (enter all the wise guys with jokes)

Definitely want to see how that splitter sits on your car. The ride height of the 350 will give it a slightly different look than the low low 350R. I see you already did the calipers too. Painted them or a new OEM red set?
Will also be doing FP springs, we’ll see how the front lip holds up. Thankfully, I’m running a square 305/35 setup, so it’s a tall tire; might preserve some ground clearance.

The calipers are from the R, bought them from LMR.

Weird… I love the factory shifter action. I can bang gears and it feels tight.
But your comment makes me want to try and MGW…
How many miles on your friends car? Mine has only 3k and is tight.
You won’t regret it. I’m just spoiled from years of S2000s, one of the best transmissions in the business. Putting the MGW in the GT350 makes it nearly identical to the S2000 in terms of feel. My buddies car has 11k miles.

Looking good. Do you still have the 2016 R? If so, you REALLY don’t like those rear seats! 😉
Can you tell me where you got that front lic plate holder?
Thanks. Actually never had a 16 R, thinking of someone else? Not sure on the plate holder brand, it came with the car when I bought it a couple years ago. Really slick design though, bolts to the front tow hook lug.

Got the wheels off and cleaned today, and applied Griots 3-in-1 ceramic to them. They definitely felt a bit more slick but we will see if that's just wishful thinking. The barrels are starting to look a little beat up for sure.

I used the griots ceramic on mine. Made a big difference to maintain. Easy clean up at shows. Not as much build up.

Finally some shots in the light after finishing up some more work. On top of the seat delete and R splitter, just finished FP springs and Steeda IRS sleeves and bushing supports. Pulling her back in soon to start the AC R wing. More to follow.

Please do it right. Take the trunk and get the holes in the middle welded/filled in and painted. It’s about $500 at a good shop.
Negative. Like everything else, this will all be DIY. I like to party and love being in my shop trying new things. I’ve dabbled in body work and also do paint correction, PPF, and ceramic on the side.

But yes, the body shop option is great, but I’m more of an 80% type of guy.

Throw a wing hole cover on the center of the decklid and get back to doing donuts on your lawn. You getting the black or exposed CF wing? Pics after please.

@FISH22 show him what you're made of buddy. Fish is a wild man.
lol, I remember that video now. Nothing too crazy, just a nice flat empty area on the back of my property. Kids were watching from the other side. This event surely sealed the deal that my neighbors think I’m your typical rambunctious military guy; we shot high caliber weapons following this. #america

Actually using a metal panel epoxy filler, time consuming with block sanding and multiple applications. Should turn out ok. Only saving grace here is that the new stripes will go right over the work, kinda a cheat code.

I opted for the AC exact R replica wing, so exposed carbon. I may actually shoot it with some gloss black down the road.

A few pics of the work:
