I️ am curious what they are saying on Mustang7g. They are S650 owners and have to like it because they own the S650.

Jamal left Ford a few years after the GT350 launched. He’s starting up his own company in Europe. Pericak was the chief engineer for S550 and just retired. I believe a fair amount of the higher level engineers and designers that worked on S550 have also since retired. So yeah, some of the most integral people associated with S550 have since moved on.
I had a feeling that that was the case. The new styling lacks the experience that is no longer there. So maybe I was right when I said the guy came over from the truck side. Lol.

The least Ford could have done if they HAD to give us a gussied up old gt500 with the dark horse name - was to make it a compelling name. “SC” is so sterile. Reminds of a piece of consumer electronics.

call it the Dark Horse REDline or something that sounds like you’re pushing it to the limit such a name designs it’s own branding. From badging to visual cues, etc

. “SC” for supercharged just sounds so basic and rushed. It just seems confused. The style of the fender lettering is trying to look like the Shelby gt350 font.

What happens when they go twin turbo hybrid. Thrn it’s the “dark horse TTH? They basically painted this car into a corner with thst name.

Well, a lot of the legendary names were ordinary words and letters till the cars that got those names gave them a deeper meaning.

So I think if this car is good enough, "SC" may become Mustang lexicon too.

It wouldnt even be the first time for S.C., it's already a thing for Porsche lol!

Would have been a cool opportunity to bring the Cobra or even Terminator monikers back.
