And a rubber band rear? I didn't like mine with stock power.
I roll race all the time, no issues. We don't have any 1/4 mile tracks where I live anymore so not launching from a dig often anyway. Hooks great with Mickey's.

Straight line it might be OK. I like twisty roads and road course race tracks.
Me too, ran SCCA for 8 years from 1997-2005 with my SN95 road car. Had every Steeda suspension part they made and it was setup by them in their original Pompano Beach shop. They moved, local tracks closed, so I sold the SN95 in 2017.

Switched to roll racing. Centri blower, 10R80 with 8000rpm shifts is nuts.

I did the Steeda Ultimate Drag Stop the Hop kit and my only complaint for myself is the rear lower control arm spherical bearings. I knew it would cause clunking and noises, but for me it’s way too much. Taking these out and adding the poly bushings.
Mon the highway it’s perfect and zero NVH. In town….. horrifie. Every bump, pot hole, speed bump or crack in the road you can hear my car like the rear end is broke.

I had the good fortune of picking up an Ultimate Street STH kit last year from a fellow forum member at a great price. Installation was easy and it made a big difference in the handling. The rear is a bit firmer, but no new noises and still a comfortable ride. You really can't go wrong with Steeda. But, it may be worth going over what you have and loosen/re-torque/re-clock before investing in new parts.

The Steeda Stop the Hop kit continues to be our best selling package - you can start 1 by 1 with the parts and keep complimenting until you are extremely satisfied with the control in the IRS - will let others jump in and provide their feedback - you can always email at tim@steeda for support!

Hi Tim,

I have spent a lot of money on my suspension. A good deal of those parts are Steeda. My first problem is the clunking when shifting my manual into reverse and then into 1st gear, and then sometimes shifting 1st into 2nd gear. It mostly occurs at very slow speeds. That's why I am thinking it is the BMR CB005 Cradle Kit. If I remove that kit and install your Stop the Hop starter kit, will it eliminate the noise and provide the same functions as the BMR cradle Kit?

My second problem is the clunking noise coming from the front wheels. It happens on rough bumpy roads, and especial if it's only one wheel hitting a bump or pot hole. I have your min drop springs, bump stops, and bump steer parts installed. I am using the Ford Track Pack struts. I am thinking it might be the springs. Your thoughts.

Thanks....................

The front is your sway bar link bolts, tighten them to at least 80 Ft/lbs.

The rear could be lots of things. Since it is when you switch directions I'd check the gear lash in the rear. How far does the pinion move before the wheels do when turning the drive shaft clockwise then counter clockwise.

I have a question, is the BMR CB005 Cradle lockout kit the same as your Stop the Hop starter kit? will it provide the same functions as the BMR cradle Kit? Thanks

Our kit utilizes all four factory mounting locations, ensuring complete shifting or rotation restrictions vs. the competition.

Additionally, it incorporates precision-machined Delrin sleeves, eliminating NVH and minimizing vibration.

Built with CNC-machined components for a precise fit—unlike welded or stamped parts with slotted holes—our design aligns and securely holds the subframe in place at all four mounting points.

Installation is quick and straightforward, typically completed in under two hours.

Thanks for all the information. Alignment is needed after installing of the stop the hop starter kit?

Yes - it recommended, as the subframe may shift when putting the alignment kit in.

You are making a great choice!

@22coyote50 I've been running Steeda parts almost 4 years now. No issues, great quality and awesome customer service from TJ and team.
