I see that Ford has finally updated their 'Build-and-Price' Mustang page to the 2023 model year [for Internal Combustion models]...

Link: https://shop.ford.com/configure/mustang/model/customize/

Even though, from what I have read, anybody who hasn't already ordered a MY2023 Mustang is limited to purchase from dealer Stock. So why tease us with the ability to place a custom order ??!?!?

Has a last build date been published for the 2023 MY Mustangs? [the internal combustion models]...thanks.

They might build into mid/late March as the Mach 1 HP orders can’t be built until then due to the Sport Cup 2 tires.

The end of February is the last I had seen as well, being nearly the middle of January you'd think that it would be set in stone...

They don’t have the Handling Package option but you can get the HP wheels along with rear seat delete when I was building a 2023 M1 this morning

I though that custom ordering closed December 5.

right, but the dealers aren't taking 'personal' orders [just theirs for floor stock], correct?

My understanding is its a hard close on the order banks. Some dealers are allowing customers to take over a stock order and some changes can be made if it hasn’t been scheduled to be built yet. Unless they’ve reopened the banks for dealer stock only but I doubt it with the S650 coming quick.

I just noticed there is no handling pack option currently for the Mach 1 for neither the regular nor the premium trim.

Base GT has gone up about ballpark, $1k per year on average from when I bought mine in 2015.

It was a lotta car for $30k in 2015, but not sure about $38k.

Yeah, I priced out a car similar to my 2018, which I thought was pretty well optioned, and the new one is $7000-$8000 more than the MSRP that mine was. I was able to knock off an additional $5000 from that, which I think is unlikely in the current market.

It's basically less than inflation adjustment. You could buy a lot more for 30k in 2015, than you can buy today for 38k. A stupid corolla with 3 cylinder engine and a turbocharger costs more than V8 mustang these days. I would say that 38k for GT is still a hell of a deal.
