I had a performance shop install a whipple supercharger kit with dual fans for extra cooling. This fans are attached to the front of radiator 2022 mustang gt. They used to run all the time while the car was on but suddenly stopped working.
They are pretty annoying ..lol I noticed my car sounded different yesterday and I couldn't tell what it was . I figured it out when I was at a drive through, the fans were not on any longer.
These fans run constantly when the car is one . I submitted a trouble ticket to whipple since I am not dealing with that shop any longer . Just wanted to see if anyone here has had this issue
According to Whipple and every one else I have talked to yes, these fans run constantly . Right now its in the 60s in central Texas so its not an issue . I just noticed they stopped working when I was at a drive through and I could not hear all the noise any longer. I checked the fuses and harness so far. I am waiting on whipple to respond and I am also under warranty , just wanted to see if anyone on here has had this issue and a fix before I have to take it to a shop.
They run constantly if they're wired that way.
Yeah they do run non stop from the second you turn the key on. They are annoyingly loud. I also thought they only worked at a set temp, but emailed Whipple & was told they run at all times
They are usually on when temp is cold first thing in the morning. The temp got up to 221 today and nothing . The stock fans are still working.
I just checked the relay, it's burnt at pin 87.
