Anyone willing to share what they paid for their 2022 Roush, and their specs?

I don’t know much about them. Saw one for the first time at a ford dealership about 2 hours from me, during the summer. They’re asking ~$73k. It’s a 2022 450R. I figured this was the typical price. Just happened to check their website and saw the car is still available. Window sticker price is $55.7k. Had to double check the VIN a few times to make sure it was showing me the correct window sticker haha.

A $20,000 market adjustment just seems absurd to me & I was wondering what some of you actually paid for your Roush if you bought it off a lot. I’m def not in the market for one of these bad boys, but I’m curious anyway. It sounded sickkkk when they started it for me. 🤩

It's not a markup, it's an additional package that's added. Roush cars are simply a regular mustang GT + the stage of the Roush mods. S1-S3 is the old terminology, with S3 having the supercharger. Now they have the 450R, Trak Pak, S3, and Jack Roush versions. You can send your car to them and they add the package. This is similar to others like Hennessey, RTR, and even Shelby.

Some Ford dealers are also Roush dealers and can do this for you. Check out Roush's website for details.

As stated above. I would suggest you closely compare what you get with the 450R vs the Track Pak, Stage 3 and Jack Roush packages. No supercharger, until you step to the S3 package, if you think you want/need more power. I don't know anyone that has the 450R package but plenty that have the S3 package, so can't comment on if it''s a good price.

Roush has discontinued the Stage 3's. The last year they made them is 2021. They couldn't get EPA approval when they added the supercharger. So now all they have is the 450R and Track Pack. The Track pack is essentially the old stage 3 without the supercharger. It has all of stage 3's standard features and the ability to purchase upgraded packages such as Podium, competition, and sport interior.

And yes I realize that the stage 3's are still listed on Roush's website but that is only a leftover description of the 2021s.

If you really want a new Roush then get the Track Pack and add a Whipple. If you want options look into Steeda's packages. They are comparable in price to Roush and meet or exceed the performance.
I bought my stage 3 used with 1700 miles on it and saved over 30K off the original sticker price. so deals are out there if you're patient. I researched them ad nasuem before I bought one so I have a ton of knowledge. Feel free to PM me if you need any help.

Thanks guys! I didn't realize that the window sticker wouldn't reflect the Roush components installed on the car. I was assuming that if the dealer ordered it for their lot, the window sticker would be all-encompassing.

Unfortunately I can only afford one vehicle at the moment so I need a mustang that makes sense to daily (hence the Ecoboost haha). Definitely not in the position to purchase such a high HP car at the moment - wouldn't make sense unless I have something else to drive daily the rest of the time. Just like to dream about my goals for the future :p

So, is Roush not producing any more Stage 3 cars from their factory at all indefinitely??

Makes you wonder how long they will be able sell superchargers.

On the Roush Owners FB page. They couldn’t get EPA approval for the SC on the stage 3’s.

Man, that sucks! I did notice that the S3 cars were 21s. I think you can still put on the Roush SC on 22s, just not from Roush as an S3. The only good thing about their SCs is that it has a warranty...I'd love to have one on my 21!
