HATE the electronic hand brake - from what I understood, it is not a mechanical brake. Listen to where they talk about drifting and he mentions it is electronic. Have no need for it. Totally prefer a mechanical.
The car is RWD. Whether the parking brake is pure mechanical or electronically engaged is moot.

From what I heard, the handbrake is an on/off lever, not proportional. With a manual on a hill, I like to not use hill assist and will slowly lower the brake as I engage the clutch for a seemless transition from stopped to forward movement without rolling back.

Not sure I like an on/off switch for manual operations like this.

I could have missheard too.

I feel the more complex, the more likely it is to fail. mechanical is simple and harder to fail and that goes for the entire car, not just the handbrake.

Still haven't cracked the 2020 and up M2.
Not much reason to. Few new BMWs are tuned. Just not enough customers.

Still, could be that they're un-crackable.

Watching Doug DeMuro's video on it now... So far, I wouldn't trade mine in for what they've come up with... but that's just me. Need to see in person.

The one part throwing my brain for a loop is the crease through the taillights. Also, am I alone in seeing some 5th/6th gen camaro in the rear quarter side profile?

I am really glad I made the decision to buy the '22 GT.
- The front end of the S650 has almost totally lost its distinctive Mustang character.
- I also like the slightly lower beltline but dislike the absence of lines along the sides.
- I like the brake caliper options.
- The digital dash is a simple no-go, Absolutely hate it and the absence of switch controls.
- The rear end is okay but still like the S550 tail lights better.
- I think the dual throttle body, dual air intake option will be a winner.

The weight of the car is a huge giveaway that little of genuine substance was done to the 2024.

77% of new BMWs are leased, so those folks aren't tuning. Of the other 23%, maybe 1/4 are interested in tuning.

So, really, that's not that many perspective sales.

Then when you look at M2 sales in specific, that's a really small number.

Good pics. Did you happen to get any of the larger grille on the GT performance pack in Vapor Blue? I actually like the way that larger grille looked on video last night but curious as to thoughts if you saw it in person

Gen 4 Coyote. 480+ hp for the GT and “projecting” 500 for the Dark Horse. Sounds like they don’t have it quite dialed in yet (or they’re just not releasing it until closer to the order banks opening).
