What did you do to your Mach 1 today

The hydrocarbon filter is "replaceable" but it's a bit of a pain to take out. I took it out along with the extra tube they installed to house it. The filter is post MAF, so im not worried about an MIL. It's easy to put back in if it does.

Do not like this big piece of paper and plastic in my intake.. tube...

How the hell did you take it out, I took the intake out and took a look but wasn't to sure where to start.

There are 3 plastic tabs you have pry up and then the tube slides out. It was easiest using 3 flat screwdrivers to hold the tabs up at the same time. Them you can take the filter out and slide the tube back in.

Has anyone else ordered a gurney flap? Mine came in and it like loons like they painted over tape or something

If I peel it up a little it exposes unpainted surface Below it but it certainly doesn't look like it should be there. The only reason I care is I may not leave the flap on because of gas mileage affect, and it has a sharp edge thanks to the paint and putting it on may scratch the spoiler itself

Ordered from steeda, its the FPP part so should be straight from ford, middle underside of it

I'd contact steeda about that. I would be worried that will continue to peel. I got the ford performance one as well. It had light scratches from the Styrofoam but buffed right out.

Man I'm getting super frustrated, every single thing I've tried to do with this car has had some sort of issue with it and none of it is my fault

Sorry my man. It will be worth it when you get the right one. I just wouldn't trust that paint holding up. Last thing you want is to install and it peel on you over the next few months.

1. These are the Borla carbon fiber tips I selected as an option for the catback and they're expensive as hell.
2. Kook's Green Catted Headers + Borla Atak GT500 CF tips
3. $750 for the header install, I did the catback myself.

I'm getting Wengerd Performance to tune my car once the RTD+ arrives. They're backordered atm.

It took about 15 minutes, Steeda makes a nice set. I used the factory bolts versus the supplied ones from Steeda.
