Thank you for all the replies. I have yet to see one mouse at my house is 12 years. Should I assume that I’m just lucky or is that foolish? No turds either. 💩
My sister never ever saw a mouse in her house either, until the carpenters opened up wall when they were building an addition. There was a whole colony living in there (no joke)!

We never see them in our house, and unless I see one in a trap, never see signs of them in my garage. I didn't worry too much about it until they got into my old BMW Z4. Then I started watching much more closely.

You may be lucky, but I recommend vigilance. Set up some traps and keep a very close eye.

Many in snow/winter regions use their Pony all year round. If you do it right, use common sense, and have it well equipped for the snow,; they handle well and can go anywhere:

However, if not keen on using it in the snow....

If it's an outdoors Pony, you can cover it (many available selections of cover styles and prints):

or not cover it:

If you have the option, store it indoors:

Or if it's a dedicated Race Horse, some have trailers:

Or if not constricted by HOA/Condo/Apt. by-laws, and if you have the extra space on your residential property, you can always install a Pony Port if permanent indoor storage is not a possibility:

Always keep it topped off with fuel:

and other essential fluids:

Bridgestone Blizzaks, and I leave my convertible top up below about 60 degrees. Others go lower.

I have been using the Car jacket for 7 years and my undercarriage is as clean as the day it rolled off the assembly line.
Change oil, remove battery, top off fuel add Stabil. dryer sheets (under hood, trunk, cabin and under the car) Zip it up and wait for spring!

I never see them either but last winter I set up those old school mouse traps with peanut butter. Caught 5. They’re out there, you just don’t see them..

saw mouse poop one day in cupboard.
set a trap - got a mouse.... thought maybe there might be one more so .....
set trap got mouse.
got a couple more traps, got more mice.
when I got no more in traps, I had trapped 30 mice over a couple months.

Had 2 cats and a dog.

never heard or saw a single mouse except trapped.

ymmv but not seeing 'em doesnt mean you dont have any.

I put a bag of moth balls on top of each tire, critters don't go near it.

And yeah, I'll pass on beating up this car during a Michigan winter, it's a summer fun toy, nothing enjoyable about sliding around our streets and having it look like dog $hit for 5 months a year.

During the last month before storage, I switch to non-ethanol gas. Beyond that, I run it into my shop (climate controlled) after the last drive and plug in a battery tender type of charger once a month. Easy.

I usually put mothballs under the car, but I really like the idea of putting them right on top of the tire ... that's one of those smack your head - why didn't I think of that before ideas for sure!

I just take my wheels off and put on a wheel dolly and then cover. That way everything is open for me to look at or mod.
