Vortech V3 charger dyno'd at 700 at wheel's with something stupid like 1000nm torque but i don't think its really a super charger problem because it'll still quite happily spin the rear end off boost I think its just the MPSS tyres like to be hot and scrubbed up before they'll actually get traction.
damn, i had a pipe dream of adding F/I to the barge but using a centri style so as not to have a huge hit low down like a positive displacement / turbo setup but sounds like traction is a issue no matter what is used. Oh well, just need to save for a 1 or 2 owner GTR.

As a daily, traction/driveablity with F/I is what's putting me off but I really wanna do it 😭

Genuinely did not know that was a thing, but I like it! Could tie my gym bag to it so it doesn't fly around when I boot it around the bends haha

Washed it Friday, met up with some friends on Saturday. Steve, who still has his 2015 comp orange GT, also has this vette now. It's rather stunning I must say, especially in old man magnetic

i have some bungess cords looped through the bar across the back of the boot for tying off bags to stop the shopping throwing itself to pieces. Tried some fixed hanging hooks, they dont work so well. Bungee cords for the win :like:

so this was why i went with centri not PD as i wanted a low spot before boost comes on but part of the build was a full custom tune by ortiz performance in the states as I wanted professionals who knew not only centri's but had years on the mustang platform and thousands of cars not just a handful.
I think I was just too lazy with my description though and he just tuned it for max power throughout both off boost and on boost so even when its running just naked if you like its still majorly up from standard. I should perhaps have been more involved in setting limits and requirements.

Other thing is I don't really use it much and so I think the MPSS have almost glazed over so to speak as its just wild at the back end in all but perfectly dry conditions or if it gets on that extra smooth tarmac they use sometimes instead of that stuff with the big stones in then it breaks lose all the time too. I have noticed though if I drive it like a lunatic and basically drift it for 10 mins or so spinning the rear tyres they do warmup and I assume scrub up and then it can put most of its power down. I say most as 1st is basically pointless, 2nd is spin city when on boost, 3rd is usable but make sure you have road speed before planting it as it will slip the rear end at 120+. If you enjoy driving wild cars though its a blast but its exhausting to drive that way all the time so I have a more sensible car now :cwl: less power and it can put every bit of that power down on any surface and even in the damp/wet.

ha, they likely thought they'd misheard you when you said low power at the bottom end. Indeed, i saw your purchase choice earlier, better balance and lower weight? Nice :sunglasses:

Anyone know what this is, I've never seen it before but I seem to have lost mine since Sept 2018 when the photo was taken ? Can't seem to see there was ever one on the drivers side.

OK I think I found a photo of it from Aug 2017 when my oil cooler failed but still doesn't explain where it's gone. This is after Ford "cleaned" it 😂
