Writing a follow up after a few emails and phone calls with Dana Port.

I spoke with Tom (I hope I got your name correctly!) from DanaPort on the phone on Friday of last week. He let me know that Ford informed them that the part would be delivered to them on a specific date, but that it kept getting delayed for them. This is why I received specific dates for a part to ship in my initial post here.

Once that info was shared with me, it put me at a bit of ease. Tom let me know the part would ship next week (this week), which it did.

Tom and I spoke again today to follow up and make sure everything was good, which it is. I’m very much looking forward to my suspension coming in next week .

For future buyers looking to buy from DanaPort: They’re good to go in my book. If you are unsure that a part is in stock, shoot them an email and they will let you know If it is in stock or special order before you buy.

I just had to ask for refund. They played that same game with me on some pieces from Kooks. ordered 2 weeks ago no shipping information. Reached out to them and they give the ol' " The manufacturer has pushed back the date again. Unfortunately it will not be shipped until 6/13." Well I went directly to Kooks and ordered them, they shipped it the next day. Not sure what Dana Port is doing, but all these fake accounts coming on here pretending like they have had great customer service ought to tell you all you need to know. I'll update this when/if I actually get my money back.

I only joined just to share my experience on these CROOKS and to warn others to stay clear of these frauds (DanaPort).

Cliff notes:
Purchased tires in May
Called them a week later to ask about shipment status as I didn't get any
Was told the manufacture pushed the date back and that it would ship the following week
Following week arrives was told the same BS lies again
I told them I'd like to cancel my order at this point and get a refund as this had no end insight
The rep said the "accounting team" will review my refund status and get back to me
Well, another week goes by and nothing as usual. See the pattern here?
I called nearly every week and I was told the same old tired bs about the "accounting team" reviewing my refund status
I asked for the phone # and/or email about this supposed "accounting team"
Rep said she didn't have their contact info? WTF? How TF am I supposed to get my refund if this nonexistent "accounting team" never contacts me or checks my refund status?
Went back and forth for nearly a month and it was the same thing time and time again
The non helpful rep said to wait for the "accounting team" to contact me (they never did) or to call my bank and file a charge back as there are multiple people having the same issues
I gave these frauds the benefit of the doubt thinking they'd refund me, but boy was I wrong
Finally called my bank and filed a charge back
They'll be investigated for fraud and hopefully get shutdown for good

Funny thing is that when you call, the automated message is of a woman who appears to sound British. I am betting that these crooks are based in the UK and not in California

This is such a scam. And they paid the site for sponsorship so they can rip us off. Flood of users with 1 post coming here saying it's legit, lol. Bots from China.

Don't use this company if you value your money and time.

Googled them, lots of other car forums are reporting the same sales scheme.
Order placed -> nothing delivered -> cancelled order -> no refund.

The AstroTurf posts from the fake accounts are a dead giveaway. Single post user, hasn't been seen on the forum since the day the account was created

Just an FYI, the Vendor MBENZGRAM as noted by M6G members, is another one that does not deliver products as advertised as noted on MANY online forums.

Why are we keeping a vendor that is problematic??? And why are the threads about them and Dana Port always deleted or shut down? The Community here is owed an explanation… We’re told to report suspicious members or scammers and when these 2 vendors are brought up, threads are deleted….

JUST an FYI, this vendor goes by DANA PORT on the BBB - look further below… this was confirmed by the E46 forum members.

Also - BOTH companies are hiding all of their registry info on WHOIS and they don’t even come up in ICANN. Neither business has any physical address listed on their webpages. Their server is in Canada:

I'm reporting MBenzgram in another new thread and I'm also sending it to the admins. I just did a credit card charge back for some headers that I knew were too good to be true. Sadly, I went into this knowing that using my credit card was the smart thing to do because if I had to do a chargeback, I would and here I am.
