Finally drove it for the first time in 7 months ago.
I feel for you bud… I moved South in 1985 and have never looked back. I hated the potholes, the rust on the vehicles, the gray skies, shoveling snow, and having to drive a winter car due to the salted roads.
Welcome back to happiness…..!!!

There was a group buy recently on the VS-5RS (that I missed).

These are the EC-7RS. When I saw all the people getting the 5s, I started researching Apex and found out they have two lines of very light forged wheels that are reasonably priced. They were running $100/wheel sale on the EC-7RS and after discussion with a rep, he told me they were stronger than the VS-5RS and might be better if I planned on tracking them a lot (I'm sure the 5s are fine too). They're about 1lb/wheel heavier than the VS-5RS, and I was about neutral between the two when it comes to appearance. So, I ended up ordering the EC-7RS.
ah gotcha. Noticed a good few Apex posts recently so was curious. Both seem like great options.

Meh. I have plenty of fun skiing and snowmobiling in the "off-season"

Did it feel like the first time all over again?
Yeah especially since I still don't even have 1,000 miles on it. 🙄
I do have motorcycles that occupying a lot of my time though.

You're going to have to put some miles on it. Sooner or later.

I will. Hard to get many though with my motorcycle addiction.
I put on about 15,000 miles per yer. Not to mention dirt biking. 😁

Just completed my first oil change on the Shelby. I also installed a new blue air filter. I'll eventually clean the old one.

They don't seem to list the ones we have any longer. They were in the "tow ramp" section, 2 piece, 6" rise and they are around 6' long. They have a notch like these, where I drop the lift on the notch, and then a piece of wood to infill the notch. For our trailer, it has a flip out extra ramp, that also lands on the notch.

Use their calculator to figure out the approach angle to confirm that what your getting will work.

Purchased a 8 year 48k Premium Warranty and Maintenance Plan from Flood Ford.
https://www.floodfordesp.com/
My Full Coverage ends in August, so wanted some peace of mind to make sure the vehicle is covered for any major repairs. The Maintenance plan was a great deal as well and a no brainer when doing the math.... I am fortunate to have a really good Ford Dealership Service Dept in my region. They have done top quality work for me.

Finally got her out of Hibernation last week after another very long winter...
Cleaner her up using Optimum No Rinse (ONR) rinse less wash. The car was just dusty after having a full detail prior to storing it. I originally had a cover on, but had to remote it in order to move the vehicle mid winter to install a Garage Heater. I have to say that the ONR product did a fantastic job. Very fast, easy and left a terrific shine with no after effects (spotting, cloudy streaks). Just a great way to do a maintenance wash instead of getting out the buckets, pressure washer, foamer, etc. Even used the remaining product to clean the wheels as they had just a small bit of brake dust from moving the car during the winter.

I have a set of Apex 19x11" ET52 Anthracite APEX EC-7 wheels with 28MM front OP Mustang spacers so I can rotate. Running 305 square on my R with PS4S's. So far they're great. I noticed it doesnt quite feel as lively and fun as it did with the carbons, but I like the peace of mind.

Installed a set of Schroth QuickFit Pro harnesses for an upcoming day at Thunderhill this week. Pretty clean setup. Minor trim to rear interior quarter pane ll but pretty minimal.
