and yet how many thousands of the reservations are at MSRP because they were booked at dealers who aren't playing games?
...and actually want to sell cars?

That is one dealer I would not buy from. For me ADM = No because there is no I car I NEED to have that badly.

If your going to purchase one of these bad boys you better have 150k at your disposal. Talked to one of our local dealers and he said for a nicely optioned car this is the ballpark after ADM, could be higher depending on local demand.

That dealership is not in the loop. The base Z06 will probably start at $89K. Add in a 2ZL trim and should come out at around $95K. MSRP. The Z06 will come standard with MagRide and all the Z51 gear. Now the Z07 with all the carbon fiber and 3ZL trim might hit $135K.

You folks doubting these prices do understand the initial buyers for the base C8 Stingrays were actually paying 25k+ for purchase right? What do you think is going to happen for the limited Z06?

They won't make as many Z06s as they did base C8s. Not difficult to understand that the Z06 will be harder to get and some people will bid up prices to get theirs.

Are you sure all of these thousands of reservations were promised in writing that there would be no ADM tacked on at delivery? Heck they don't even know the MSRP yet. History is your friend go back and look at the 7th Gen early cars for the Z06 and ZR1, heck even the C8 Stingray. What's the present markup for a C8R?

I am #291 on reservation list at a #1/2 Corvette dealer. The top two dealers will sell at MSRP. I put my deposit down in fall of '20. The other of the top 2 only opened order banks after the car was announced in October. My bank wire was ordered 2 minutes after they gave the details. My place line was over #3000!! The consensus is these two dealers should hopefully get 250 or so cars per model year. I think it will be very hard to buy an immediately available z06 for less than $30k over MSRP. And yes base should be $90k ish. They're starting to build them in May! Order banks open and real pricing within weeks now.

I can say yes and have bought from the dealership before; in my case. The 3 dealerships that sell the most Corvettes are all at MSRP.....that could be why the sell the most and in the past, they had the better deals when a person could buy under MSRP.

Wow, I didn't know that the C8 Z06 will be a limited production car??
See that. You learn something new every day. :like:

I was going to order a base C8, before I bought my mustang. 3 local dealers quoted me over list pricing with the min being $10k over list and 6 month lead time. Z06 will be $25k over list easy, MSRP means nothing anymore at GM.

LOL, apparently you haven't tried to buy a GT500 or Bronco lately...

30000 units worth of limited
In 2020, GM only sold a TOTAL of 21,627 Corvettes.

In 2021 they sold 33,000.

Maybe they will eventually sell 30,000 Z06s, but it will be years and years.

very bad years to cite. But 5000 units/yr for 6 years is 30k.
The Supercharged Corvette Z06 debuted in 2015 and a total of 39,940 Z06s were built in the five-year run.
I think they can do 30k no problem.
