Seems like a bargain price compared to other gas prices in California.
Wish they had some racing fuel around here, out of a pump. Liked to see what the car can do with it.
Try this,
Go to Sunoco Race fuels and thy have a fuel finder that gives you locations and type of fuel sold.

Took a drive out to Point Reyes Lighthouse. Light drizzle meant light traffic*, which is good, though I don't really trust my rear tires in the rain, which is a problem when you're driving along coastal cliffs.

With the recent rains everything is very green and beautiful.

* I still saw four red Priuses at once at one point - one in front of me, one parked on the shoulder, two driving the other way. California...

New Sport Cup 2s - much fun was had on way to get them on last drive with the old tires

Am I the only person who sends it the entire way on the drive to get new tires and does a few burn outs to make sure I got every last penny out of the old tires??

I received my SC2 295s for the front last week. Will have some fun with the old tires on the track in the Spring ;) I figure I can get at least one more weekend out of them. Rears still have plenty left.

I grew up in the bay area--cruised many of those same roads in my 70 Boss 302s and M5. I miss those roads--and Highway 1 down to Big Sur. Not enough to move back--but you do stir up great memories for me. Thanks for these posts.

I'm going to be sending my rears off in a smoky kind of glory this spring myself. They don't have enough for another "Safe" track day for me...

Started it up in the garage, listened to it, and checked the battery. Winter storage time..

Merry Christmas everyone. My kids are at their mom's today, so I'm doing Xmas tomorrow. Beautiful day, and took the car for the first drive since the wing Install. Just back roads up to 50ish mph.

Have it set so the wing flips all the way down at a stop. Pretty funny seeing people's reactions. Few thumbs up, couple thumbs down as expected haha. I love it though.

Gotta check make sure everything's still tight. Few more back road cruising sessions, then hwy, and airbrake tests ( have a good spot for that). That'll be the true test to see how I did on my install. Hopefully my trunk stays on the car. Lots of setting to play with first.

How it looks at a stop now/ under 5mph. Pretty sure people coming up on my rear at a light will be pretty confused till I move and they realize the wing does as well.
Need a decal on the underside

And yeah... still need to put the trunk stripes back on...will when I find motivation...need a working on the car break for a few days.

Cool project. Loaded question. Do you think the install is to time consuming? Would simplifying make it more attractive possibly?

For the install...Its the details that make is so time consuming. I don't really see a way in simplifying that really by too much. A more complete kit with wiring how tos and associated parts included would save a big chunk of time. Less to figure out and research. Templates as well would help with the drilling, and speed things up.

As for the remote use/settings. Having it preprogrammed with baselines would be great. I understand the reasons why it's not of sort, but low settings start points for each mode would be a great starting point. I'll prob be adjusting settings for a good few months to come.

A lot of my install time was either thinking...(my son called it hmmm moments), or realizing I needed something I didn't have. Partly why I wrote up the addendum/ how to. Would have saved me tons of time if I had a compete list of odd tools/ wires/ cables I may need ahead of time.
