I just got my HP wheels from Levittown, does anyone know the size options that will fit this set. I know the stock sizes are 305 30 19 and 315 30 19, but can you use any other options without causing issues? Anyone have any tire brand recommendations. Currently have Pilot 4S on non HP rims, was planning on purchasing new set of Pilot 4s for new setup.

I will post pics of my levittown ford performance Mach 1 HP wheels later today for anyone who is curious on packaging etc.

Since you have a non-HP car going to a 315/30x19 in the rear will be a 4.7% decrease in tire diameter from the stock non-HP of 275/40x19. Are you sure you want to do that?

Running 305/30 and 315/30 PS4S tires. Limited options in this size range and I really like these tires a lot.

For us non-HP, 295/35 R19 all around fixes the too big diameter difference. I'm opting for 285/35 in the front so the poke isn't as big and also 295/35 PS4S are with compound specifically made for Mercedes rear wheels (but others use them on the front).

305/35 R19 all around would work too without big diameter error, but PS4S isn't available in this dimension, there's older Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Pirelli P Zero Sport or Goodyear Supersport, but the load index is only 102 while normally it's 105 (104 with 315/30).

Whether almost 5% diameter difference is a problem on Mustang, I don't know. Tyre stretched on the rim of same width has similar contact area anyway.

Well for one thing the speedometer will be off and whether this would also effect ABS and stability control I will leave to others to debate.
I never look at speedometer anyways...

There has to be an easy fix. I think forscan or some other software can recalibrate the computer to account for this. Someone correct me if Iā€™m wrong but your odometer will be off also, with the shorter tires youā€™re going to accumulate miles faster than you should.

The recommended diameter difference on another tyre size is max 3%. Tyre diameter changes with wear so there is some toleration, but more than 3% is not recommended. What all can get affected and in what way on this particular car is for more experienced users to say. If you don't care about diameter difference then I guess you can use pretty much any size you can šŸ˜

I made the switch to the HP wheels and tires (305 F and 315 R) on my non HP car. Along with the front splitter, rear wing, front and rear wheel moldings. I have tracked it pretty hard in the dry and the wet(very). All I can say is I was very impressed with the handling and grip, as was my instructor on the last ride. No problems other than yes the speedo is off. Im on the manual transmission.

Correct and I also think it is programmable.
