we don't have a 'pump it out of the ground' supply problem so much as we have a transport and refinery capacity problem. Seasonal blends, mandated ethanol mixes are friction in the mechanism that are entirely gov't imposed. Regulations and impediments to transport and refinery are gov't imposed obstacles. I'm not saying all such regs have no merit obviously, but there are quite a few that are vacuous.If you actually have any verifiable proof that any government agency is forcing the industry to limit production, please supply it.
