Hoosier DBR 28x10.5x17 do well on the street but I wouldn't use them as a daily at all.

ET street R arent safe over like 20 mph in active rain. I hydroplaned at like 20 mph and just decided to pull over for a while until the rain stopped.
That’s exactly what I fear. I live in Miami where it rains often. With the street SS I can drive in active rain around 40-50mph

If it’s a daily then you overdid it on a daily lol. I don’t daily it but I gave up on street tires, I put nitto R2.
I had R2's which were great until 10psi on E85, then I got too much spin. That's when I bumped up to 15psi & tall Street R's.

Exactly. When you up the power you gotta start making choices. I have around 800rwhp(depending on dyno), i said forget it and run regular street tires on 20s when im on the street. Then when its racing time i Swap on the drag pack with the ET Street Rs and go ham.

Update: was able to achieve my goal of a 4 sec 60-130 but did so starting the run in 5th gear @ 4K RPMs. Hopefully with the Street Rs I can start the run in 3rd or 4th to get that down to a 4.6 which are Tesla Plaid/McLaren 765 lt times.

So I recently pullied down from a 3.25” 6 rib to a 2.875” on a Gen 5 Whipple in hopes of getting my 60-130mph under 5 sec. Car has a sleeved motor and clutches on the 10R80. My best is 5.17 sec with the 3.25”. Problem is, with the 2.875” pulley the car won’t hook till about 80mph. Current tire/suspension setup is 305/45/17 ET street SS, BMR vertical links, rear toe rods, cradle lock outs. Will ET Street Rs give me a chance to hook from at least 60? Any recommendations for suspension upgrades? I’m trying to hook up on the street not just at the track.
ET Street Rs and some BMR suspension components will sure help you out a ton. Lethal Performance S550 Mustang Suspension Package - 600+ HP (Drag)
