It really pains me that every time I look at the car I notice more of the horrendous ford fitment. I had a focus RS so I'm no stranger to this, but this car looks so good...It would be nice to be able to look back at it without the dread of what am I going to find this time...

My hood to fender mismatch is annoying. The door rear view mirror is pretty sloppy. The tremec is still awesome.

Yea my hood is lower than the fender on one side and my passenger door looks like it's open. On my focus RS there was so much gap between door panels that you could see the hinge through it...Luckily when I'm driving it I don't have to see any of this crap.

I don't think the mach 1/gt350/gt500 spoiler has the same layout? Looks different in the LMR video and their pictures for the spoiler https://lmr.com/item/M16600FP/mustang-s550-ford-performance-rear-spoiler-gurney-flap-m-16600-fp
All of the factory spoilers for the coup have the same attachment points. With a few exceptions like the CFTP on the GT500 or the GT350R. I removed the stock spoiler on my car and replaced it with the GT350 track pack spoiler. The only difference is the layout of the 3M tape.

Gotcha. I guess I'll try to see if the bolt is loose. I have to order an extension to reach but as long as it's secure and won't fall off I guess I'll just have to try to ignore this one more uneven gap of the many.

Here’s a few pics I just took. The last 2 are of the passenger side where it meets the trunk. I was able to apply some pressure to tighten up the gap a tiny amount but it also pushes down on the trunk pretty hard to do so. It looks like it’s not an issue of mine coming loose, more just sloppy gaps if that makes sense.

Thanks for checking and sharing the pics! The gap looks similar to mine and the ones I see on both sides of the LMR video and screenshot I posted earlier.

I also did some pushing and found the there wasn’t really any noticeable wobbling so i’m less worried about it just falling off while driving.

That's pretty typical of that spoiler, both on the cars they originally came on and putting them on aftermarket. I saw the same here on a Mach on the showroom floor.

screwed. with how much downforce they provide, adhesive would never work.
Downforce would keep it planted. Its the drag that will rip it off :bandit:

Under the hood there are two rubber pieces either side sticking up from the black metal frame right above the headlight. On the drivers side it is below the hood prop rod. This does not appear to be one of the screw type adjustors where you can screw it in and out dictating the height of the stopper, but you can pull on it a bit and stretch it, this will improve the gap if the hood is closing lower than the fender.

Like I said, in some cars these are adjustable and for this purpose.

My panel gaps were pretty good from factory, and I made it perfectly flush by screwing and pulling on this piece. Excuse the flash glare

would that help at the other end of the hood on the end that meets with the windshield? The height seems to be ok at the front end of the hood, but is lower on the back side.

If it doesn't work here is the thread with more in depth instructions on adjusting the entire hood alignment.
Thanks, Yes, probably can tweak it better. Just that all of the panel gaps on the wife’s new $25k cheaper Mazda CX30 are tighter and perfect. And it was built in Mexico.

Ford QC/fit and finish as it is supposed to be :D

the thing that tipped me to sell mine (amongst 30 other things along the way) was I took the car in as the weather seal around the rear window had turned blue because it had been rubbing on the deck lid and the deck lid had no paint left in that area more or less and shop foreman says they will not cover that under warranty 😂.

that did not stop me from sending a mail to my dealer today asking about allotment and colors for 2022 in Sweden :D
