Spun it when tires broke loose going into third I believe. A10, tuned e85, Roush exhaust. Oem PP1 pilot Sports at 22 psi.

First time ever at the strip. Lot to learn. Very lucky I kept it off the wall and very lucky the SRT got out in front of me so I didnt risk taking him out.

Not sure how you kept it off the walls, but nice save. Probably couldn't save your shorts after that one though.
trust me, it was close on both accounts. the shorts and the wall. the afternoon could have gone far differently.

Dang, haven’t been many times myself but never seen that happen. That’s some scary shit!
I have the same car but basically stock engine, crazy you were that far up the strip and it let loose that much.

I see you did cut a 1.94 60' that time which is much better than the day started out.

First thought that came to mind after watching, was Obi Wan Kenobi saying "Another happy landing". Nice save, there. Another learning experience.

Why so low a tire pressure on stock tires?

BTW amazing you didn't hit anything, don't bother playing the lottery now :)

I assume drag mode too. Shifts a bit harder and usually gets ya on the 3-4 shift. Good save!!!

When my Ecoboost Mustang was bone stock with street tires, I ran 24 psi in the rear and I would still get a little wheel spin going from 2nd to 3rd with my A10 in drag mode w/ advance traction off. Surprising that a Coyote on E85 doesn't spin the tires all the way down the track. Excellent Save!! Good Driving!
