While I wait I'm wondering about a spoiler. Why does Ford delete the GT PP1 spoiler from the convertible? I'd really like a nice spoiler too.

Maybe it has a disadvantageous effect with the airflow and passenger comfort ?

This IS IT!! I put the deposit down on it today (not at that price)!!! It has every one of my Must Haves!!! Plus it has MagnaRaide, Active Exhaust option and only 4,400 miles.

Exciting stuff. Happy for you. Let's see that window sticker and some side photos. Black wheels or the nickel silver upgrades? Wing delete?

I thought I'd be disappointed when I got my spoiler deleted GT. It had every option I wanted but that. After living with it for a month now I kinda like the sleek look. Maybe somewhere down the road I'll get one but for now I like it without.

So my gal actually went to see it for me as she was in NJ visiting family and some friends. Since she used to sell cars and had sports cars I trust her judgement, plus we've test driven 2 GT's before. Since I don't have it yet I only have her pics and the dealer pics. Strangely while this is 100% my car, down payment etc. they still haven't removed it from their website or Car Guru's yet. The wheels are the black wheels and why Ford deletes the wing when you spec convertible don't know. I want to add it back. The dealer actually has the original sticker (I'm attaching a screenshot). Best I have until we finish the deal and I pick it up.

Holy cow, I didn't know base price on convertibles was so high. I know on a lot of classic cars, convertibles fetch a premium price.

My pp1 fastback is spoiler delete and I like it a lot better without. But I think the pp1 spoiler would look especially great on a convertible with the top down.

This GT started in Canada not sure why so high price or if the sticker is Canadian dollars. One owner, while the dealership didn't say it seems like this went to dealer auctions and was with different dealers. Some of us love Orange but... overall it's doesn't seem like a fast selling color so it was on Car Gurus for some time (actually still up).

Same. Coming from the Fox Body generation and owning multiple notch backs, I like the lines of no spoiler on the convertible. Top up it gives the back-end a more aggressive fat look and top down it gives it a great side profile.

It's definitely in Canadian dollars.

To the OP, the PP1 spoiler on this car would look fantastic. Congrats!

I'll do first things first. First I complete the deal in early November based on agreement with Sales at dealer. Pick it up and enjoy the Hell out of it while I can. Early winter weather in midwest is off and on so less driving. See how I feel about it, hold off any changes for 4 to 8 months. By the Spring season I figure I'll have a better sense of what I might want to add or change, if anything. I am enticed about the possibility of being able to take the GT onto a road course sometime. Since I live in Indianapolis there should be some place...Hmmmm.
