Mainly to upgrade to a flow formed model for strength. My current wheels are cast and I had one crack when a small piece of retread hit it on the inside. If/when I might keep these with all seasons for winter.
Fair enough.

Best to get those new wheels sooner rather than later - cracks don't ever get smaller.

Personally, I wouldn't use a wheel with visible damage for anything above "backup emergency spare".

Oh, I had the wheel repaired shortly after the incident. I didn't even drive the car there. Took the wheel off and hauled it in the SUV.

OK, so there is no separate senior folder yet (and maybe there will never be), but this question is targeted at 50 and up owners. Do you like black wheels? It's fairly obvious they are more popular with the younger crowd.

I did not like them at all when they first became prevalent, but they have grown on me somewhat on cars in certain colors. (Mean look with magnetic.) Even so, I would only consider gloss black because you know when they're clean. Also, mesh style or any intricate spoke pattern seems pointless since it's difficult to see except up close. Black PP1 wheels come to mind. In most cases a charcoal or graphite will show the spoke pattern much better while still giving a darker look.

What do you think of them? :)
50+ is senior??! Not!😛😉
I’m 56 and husband is 62. We LOVE black wheels. I’ll grant you not great on all colors and not in all styles, but will look awesome and mean on our ordered GT in Iconic. 🥳

Note, I like different colors than all black or silver. To me that's just boring. But, to each their own, for we all have different taste.
