I have added GT350 fenders, hood, front bumper cover and stripes... I like the looks and it's my car.
I took all that off mine and put regular GT parts on it........

of course you can, but I'd prefer something unique- thus why I was hoping to find someone that could make up a unique one....
Have you tried the reddit 3d printing sub reddits.
I'm sure someone would make whatever you want.

There's a badge company that'll make just about any badge you want, I think. Google custom vehicle emblems... or badges.

One of the companies is mentioned in a thread on here somewhere.

What is this, give the new guy crap week? I couldn't find a 2015 with the appearance package so I found a panel on ebay and swapped tail lights with a local member. I dont remember getting any crap for it; not that I would have cared. Is it a 2015? Then its the cars 50th year.

the 2015 mustang had an optional 50th anniversary package you could add.
came with the front and rear as seen on mine. also the dash plaque above the glove box says 50th anniv. editon. the tail lights added a chrome ring around them similar to the 1st gen models.
subtle but it stands out from the rest of the general 2015 mustangs....
i think they look nice. if you want a blank rear then by all means take off the panel.
this is a very retro feel to the new G6 that i like referencing the old 65-66 models.
call me old school....

Many of us who had driver's licenses, some money, and a bit of mechanical ability in the 60's and 70's often took the Camaros, Mustangs, Novas, Vegas, etc. and swapped engines and drive trains.
There were/are cars out there that were passed off as the real deal.
I don't have a problem with badging a vehicle and yes, 2015 is the 50th anniversary year. Perhaps Ford should have identified all of those 2015 MY Mustangs as 50th anniversary in some way.
My point is that sometimes cars are passed off as something they were originally weren't. Who would want to buy a fake 1967 Shelby Cobra for example?
People paid extra for special factory or dealership options. And there are ways to identify those cars.
As a side note, I want to thank you guys for posting where I can find the emblem. I'll buy one and a deck lid panel to replace the original one. It fell off once and I'd hate to lose it.

Why is the 2004 Mustang the 40th anniversary car and the 2015 the 50th?

It doesn't seem like Ford cares to be exact, why should we?

That’s an excellent point, my 2014 should have been the 50th model. My 2020 has a dash badge with 55th Anniversary.

I really liked the faux gas cap look over the OEM GT badge on my 2017. Looked into it and rather than getting a 50th anniversary decklid and cap, I looked in the EU market and found a decklid on eBay. Apparently EU spec cars have the faux gas cap with just the plain GT logo (no 50th branding).

Really the 2018 model should have been the 50th anniversary for the Bullitt car too. I suspect it was delayed due to the original betting found.
