That is the color of his car. Magnetic... Its a grey(ish) color.
Ahhh. Thank you. I'm "new" to Mustangs...haven't had one since 1997, which was a '96 vert. Nothing special V6 back then - unlike what I am looking at now! I also had a '68 'vert in HS. Fellow I sold it to - still has it!

Were '16 A/C issues resolved, or do they remain?
except the evaporator which Ford fixed under warranty.
Of course they remain for the early years, Ford seems to have resolved the issue for years '18 and newer. I've even read of the evap going out more than once on 15-17 cars.

I'm not trying to be chicken little here but you said it's had to be recharged twice already and, if it's not under warranty, it is around a $2000 repair because the dash has to come out.

That happened in the beginning before Ford was aware that the repair stock was affected. Once they knew that the defective parts were pulled from both production and service part inventory years ago.

Magneride not offered in 2016. Do yourself a BIG favor. Get Bilstein B6 all around and thank me later. :like:
Which Bilstein B6 option? It appears there are several...

I believe there is only B6 one strut and one B6 shock for the 2015-21 mustang unless something new.

And yet the car has lost refrigerant twice already. There's something wrong to be leaking down. He asked for warnings. That's a huge red flag.

I spoke with the original owner today for 20 minutes. He vouched for the condition as pristine, no nagging issues and never abused or driven in snow. He lived in Florida in the winter, so this car sat during NY winters. At 73 he wanted something less raucous. New question: How do you manage your car insurance when you are modified with $5k-$10k+ mods. AAA told me cars with performance mods are UNINSURABLE!!! So I switched my insurance to a new firm - after checking with Hagerty. Hagerty rates fine, about $900, but new firm made it worth my while to switch over all cars and house. No questions about mods.
