My truck has strips and as much as I like the look there a pita to wax around and the wife didnt care either way so passed on the strips.

Took delivery today. The gulf between a 15 and a 21 feels massive and its an entirely new car. I've been giggling like Hammond revving it.

Picked mine up today. First thing I did was check the trunk lid alignment and it had the typical paint chip on passenger side from it being to close. Going to body shop Thursday for realignment and a touch up.
It would be a pretty easy fix to do myself. After sitting waiting for the finance person and stewing over it a bit I realized after spending over 50K on a brand new car dealership can deal with it.

After a few days driving I've noticed a lot of things;
The car is very powerful. More than i expected. It's like scary powerful to me. I come from a 2012 civic si.
It drives smooth. The ride quality is far superior to my civic
The active exhaust makes it very loud (for stock) in track mode. And near silent in quite mode. Quieter than my civic si.
When it starts it's loud. Even in quiet start mode. I'm not sure it even is working honestly.
Under acceleration there is a ton of front end lift. Lowering springs should fix this.
It's an extremely wide car. Barely fits in my garage. (1 car)
The color pops in the sun!
It's a head turner, i see girls checking it out at the gas station etc.

I was worried about skipping the magnaride and having the ride be very harsh but im really surprised how well it rides for a sports car. It handles bumps better then the wifes Mariner SUV.
Iv noticed the 10 speed never uses 2nd gear, it always shifts from 1st to 3rd?
I have a Corsa sport catback in the basement waiting but i was surprised how load it was
with stock exhaust. I do NOT have the AE.
