Does anyone know how many S550 CS's have been built, I've been looking around but can't find the data easily. I know that I haven't seen any in my local area (only other CS I've seen in Charleston/Summerville area is an S197 that is owned be a co-worker. Just curious as the only one I've seen at a dealership was the one I bought as well.

I'd like to know too, but not sure the data is available. I was told I had the only Race Red GT/CS convert in the state. I am not sure that is true or not, might have been some puffing from the sales guy.

That data is impossible to find... BTW I live on Kiawah Island and have a 2020 GT/CS Iconic Silver

Unfortunately the certificates from Ford Show Parts only go up to 2014. We keep hearing they are going to release later years but so far nothing.

I'm waiting on the production numbers as well. I've never seen another 2019 GT/CS in Kona Blue around where I live. There are some others on the registry (which I'm on) but I've never personally seen one.

Placed an order this weekend for a 2021 GT/CS with 400A, MT and B&O sound system. Velocity Blue. Dealer said Ford is prioritizing factory orders…..still will take a few months with chip shortage..

....since I've sold the Challenger, while waiting for the check to
clear @ my bank I've been looking at California Specials as well
as PP cars and even a Mach 1.
I STILL don't see the draw of a California Special.
The money for the car doesn't seem to be worth it and looks like I'd
be getting more with a PP.

Still looking though....................:champagne:

A unique appearance package with an outstanding interior. If you want to track the car you should do the mach 1

It’s basically a cosmetics package. You either like or you don’t. Nothing wrong either way. Honestly I love my CS put would swap it in a second if I had the $$ for a Mach 1.

...it's still hard to justify $50g+ for a car that will stay in the
downstairs most of its life.
I had the Challenger since Jan 18 this year. Did manage to
put 2500 miles on it.

Most of them was trying to make myself like the car...................

So either you like the looks (spoilers, scoops, grille, wheel and tire pkg, seats inserts and stitching and badges/stripes) or not and if not the extra $ (2500 in Canada) is not worth it to you. For me the difference is quite substantial and if I see a car with same colours as mine without the CS pack I know it was worth every cent I paid. Remember my car is a convertible grand tourer that doesn't look like every other mustang , not a track day car and not intended for that. I also love the looks of the Mach1 and if I wanted a track day car and a hard top and had the money it would be top of my list.

As others have said, it is a Premium with additional unique aesthetics. I'm really happy with mine. The unique interior details including red stitching, the GT/CS grille, extended splitter, black accents and other aesthetics are exactly what I like. If the appearance isn't your cup of tea, then by definition it isn't the way to go.
