That's amazing! Now, only if we can actually get our cars (finger crossed my factory order from March will get produced and delivered mid June as per ETA last week)

That’s because people were spending all their money on toilet paper this time last year and couldn’t afford to by a new car

🙄
The flood gates are opening across the country and everyone will be back on the roads - gotta have new wheels to show off. :)

8% over any month in 2020 should not be hard to do.
It is good that they are selling. sports/pony cars tend to sell in the spring.

serious?I see literally single people driving the largest SUV’s they can get. I don’t understand the appeal unless you had a family.

more so, why don’t people want cars anymore?

The sales increase is great, but obviously comparisons to months at the beginning of the pandemic aren't that meaningful. I hope the sales of the current generation are good and that helps dissuade Ford from replacing the current model in 2022. I fear the next generation Mustang will be inflicting by the giant gaping maw front end grill disease that has inflicted so many modern cars. I want the Mustang to continue to look good as long as possible before they ruin it.

Looks like "Total sales of Ford Mustang" (which would be YTD sales, NOT April Sales) are actually up 8.1%, not 50.9%.

in my case it's an F150, so guilty. If we were rational every single-occupant would be riding their motorcycle and not even a 2-seater, let alone a 4-seater sedan.

But every single person wants a monster truck as a a to b car. Usually gas goes up, people trade to smaller cars, gas goes down they trade back into smaller vehicles.

stimulus etc…, gas doesn’t matter. Biggest they can afford.

my area has never had so many suvs and trucks as much as now.

not to mention, just being new ones. im seeing the new being lifted and rims etc lmao

do they ever. My co-worker is 5'5 and his brand new F250 is now 8 inches higher than it was when it left the factory. I'm 5'11 and my F150 is lowered 2/4 inches. Go figure.

I completely agree. The gaping, humongus grilles on many vehicles is very unappealing.
